I just noticed the snow kind of piles up at the base of the towers. There is a lot to like in this build. Good job, again!

Thank you, I try to include plenty of details in my builds :classic:

Wow SK! Great work on this one! I like the angle on the stables! And as I´ve said on the other phases, great idea with the wolfs!!

Thanks dG!

ohhhh yes! photography is sooo much better on this one than you others, also, wow

new favorite soccerkid moc!

Thanks legonardo!

A worthy phase III build! I like it all from the general layout with the rotated building to the small details, especially the sloping base of the tower and the log walls.

Definitely one of your best MOCs :classic:

UoP +1 for your claims.

Thanks Gideon, the wall texture was somewhat inspired by Nordana Castle :classic:

I feel really late to a great party - this MOC is fantastic! I like how you tend to include small scenes of minifig interaction throughout your builds, and in this MOC, how they pull together to give the castle a "lived-in" feeling.

The tops of the posts forming the warg great wolf pen are bugging though. Maybe top them of with snow instead?

Was fairly sure I'd commented on this..

Great build, loving the wood on stone building.

Was actually planning on putting in a BL order to build something like this - only problem is I'm terrible at estimation. How many 1x2 grey bricks do you reckon it'd take to build a moc this size? Thanks.

Thanks mrcp6d, good idea for the posts, I wasn't completely satisfied with those cones :classic:

Thanks! And it takes a lot... I'm guessing that I used maybe 700-1000 bley 1x2 bricks in this build, but I also used 300-400 bley 1x2 grill bricks, 100 or so headlight bricks with 1x2 tiles, and 300-400 bley 1x2 palisade (log) bricks. So about 2000 1x2 bricks in total. My recommendation is build up your collection of 1x2 bricks over time, otherwise it will be pretty costly :classic:

Hey soccerkid, very nice build.

I like also how the guys are carrying the fish and how the guard is reacting to them. Very clever use.

And the trans clear plates on the roof like the melting of the snow

Glad to be a source of inspiration for you too, as I also take some inspiration from your builds

This is fantastic! It's going to take me a long time before I have enough pieces to attempt anything on this scale. But you have provided me with inspiration for the future! \^o^/

Thanks! And it took me a long time to get to this point too :classic:

Love the wooden part of this build. Just perfect!

Thanks! I wanted to try something a bit different with the wooden building than what I normally do :classic:

Huh. Could've sworn I'd commented on this. Apparently I hadn't... Anyways, I  that angled tower, and the snow, logs, path, and roofs are great too! Very inspiring.

Thanks Carson, your WIP pic on Flickr looks very promising

Really really liking the base of the tower, is there a wip picture of it? Or a how to kind of thing?

Pretty much just use these:

at the base of the tower to tilt the wall (if you're doing corners in the tilted section, you need to use slopes at the corners of the tilted sections like I did here). Then just figured out a way to blend the tilted wall into a normal wall.

I very much appreciate that you keep pushing yourself to innovate and try new things soccerkid. The angled walls look fabulous. Great texture too. +1 for roofing and roof rakes. Very nice build!

Thanks robuko! Trying new things is one of the funnest parts of building with LEGO, there are so many possibilities :classic:
