That is a nice start! Can't wait to see more and as always, keep up the good work!:thumbup:

Thanks 'TLC', I have 2x4 red slope pieces on order to fill the gaps in the driveway roof, plus a few small's and dig up a service station base plate to mount this on.

Keep watching !

Nice work Tiger. Always been a fan of the Octan brand from the garages to the train waggons and the tankers as well. Spotted that one and it does look sleek. The storage towers also look cool from the pictures from the show. Are you keeping a parts list handy?

Thanks 'monsinjor', 'LT12V' and 'Technic-Kobaltz' for your kind words, now I must dig up the brooms and one red 1x1 tile for the door.....plus work out the best kind of base plate arrangement for this project as this will end up in my Lego City based layout......you know the one with the four storey building in it.......keep watching anyway.

Nice! what do you actually do when you "reverse engineer"?

Thanks 'scott', now first I study the original, next is LDD and finally brick build it.

While waiting for the red slope parts to come in I can start on the stickers......keep watching ! :classic:

Will you be making it an octan station, or will you make up a gas company for New Mannum?

Edit: as soon as I posted this, you put the picture up.

Thanks 'Homer', actually this design is going in my second layout, my first being NM and the second is Avalonia City which is a more Lego City style layout containing actual sets along side of MOC's.

Keep watching !

Ooh, when will that start? Will it be on tables, unlike New Mannum which is on a shelf?

So basically you create it on LDD by using parts you think have been used by the original builder?

Now, where to start......Avalonia City was started last year, but it will be changed with the gas station as a centre piece/dividing line between actual sets and MOC's.

Next, yes I built the project on LDD using a handful of images from 2013 and 2014, but due to costs I modified some of the design to save money.

I'll see what I can get up to today.......keep watching !

LT, do you still have got the highrise building in Avalonia City?

I look forward to see an update on AC. And an Octan station is always nice to have (also after seeing The LEGO Movie  ). I especially like the new way to put the red-green-white on the roof, that is next to each other in stead of on top of each other.

Thanks 'Iaka', yeah I still have it......but it's being changed so it can sit next to a new bank building....oop's just gave away the name of my next building.

Keep watching !
