Colossus Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Mini-Beard is a cool brick built figure! It captures the essence of the actual Metalbeard in great detail despite using much less bricks, and it's fun to build! Quote
lovebebeforever Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 We bought it at the first day they selling at the LEGO store. Quote
rockethead26 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 We just got this set last night at the Lego Store. It looks like a lot of fun, but we won't get a chance to build it until after our move back to Flagstaff in 2 1/2 weeks. We wanted the Evil Lair and The Melting Room, too, but they were sold out. rollermonkey Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) I couldn't wait that long to build a set like that. I doubt I'll even be able to wait until the weekend to build the Fire Brigade I bought on Ebay today. :) Edited March 13, 2014 by rollermonkey Quote
rockethead26 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) My wife and I just finished building this set and it is so much fun. We built it over two weeks with an hour here and a half-hour there. We decided to have a little fun and add all the movie characters to the build and take a few pics. Hope you like them. rockethead26 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 NIce detailed photos.....i reckon you had a great Fun!..:) cheers We did! This set wasn't even on the "buy" list as we were trying to concentrate on laying out a LEGO city. The spring LEGO catalog arrival didn't help with the double page spread and we succumbed to the golden glitter of the Sea Cow. We may have to put a beach on the edge of our LEGO town so we can park this behemoth. Out city concept has grown into a multi-universe one which will include all kinds of stuff along with the Modular/City/Friends sets. We highly recommend this set to anyone, regardless of their individual proclivities. It's a truly awesome build! Quote
VintageLegoEra Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) i am going to get this soon!...started to like it for the following reasons: 1)- It is Heavily Loaded with Parts. 2)- Has Many Unique and New Parts :) Edited August 25, 2014 by VintageLegoEra Quote
