Endgame Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Lord Business has been busy with a much bigger Micro-Manager... The Macro-Manager, ready to disassemble our heroes and (possibly) rebuild them into less of an eyesore. Heavily armored and quick moving (or perhaps Lord Business's cellphone hand is a bit wobbly), the Macro-Manager is a huge threat. Four sturdy legs allow it to scurry around, crushing two minifigures with a single foot. It's favorite strategy? Using one sharpened arm to pin down its prey, and another to dissassemble it. The Macro Manager rarely has any interest in rebuilding what it takes apart... It leaves that to Business' lesser office grunts. Will Emmet fall prey to Lord Business' finest manager? The Macro-Manager leading two other custom Micro-Managers into the fray, with the Micro-Manager from Metalbeard's duel tagging along for scale. Quote
Kintobor Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Not surprised you of all people would make this. It looks good! I'm not sure how much I like the grey blended in, but the overall design is really neat! I have yet to pick up any of the sets myself, but hopefully I can get around to building a few of the little cube-things. Quote
TheRedGuy Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 The legs are nice, especially the ones in the back and the spear thingies are a nice idea. And although you built the cube part nicely, you should try using SNOT techniques for the cubes next time. I love your other Micro Managers too! Quote
Endgame Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 It looks like a spider! Cool! Yep - it's based off of a boss fight from the lego movie video game. Not surprised you of all people would make this. It looks good! I'm not sure how much I like the grey blended in, but the overall design is really neat! I have yet to pick up any of the sets myself, but hopefully I can get around to building a few of the little cube-things. Apparently oppresive evil-doers are just my thing. I probably am going switch its inner core out to Dark Gray rather than Light Gray. The legs are nice, especially the ones in the back and the spear thingies are a nice idea. And although you built the cube part nicely, you should try using SNOT techniques for the cubes next time. I love your other Micro Managers too! When I get my hands on my Lego collection again, I'll probably try switching out the front face panel to a 8x8 plate instead - I just like the girder design too much. Thanks for noticing the little guys as well! I'm not too proud of the little trike one in the front, though - or his face, at any rate. He looks a bit derpy. Thanks for the comments and criticism, everybody - it's much appreciated! Quote
