VBBN Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I have literally lost my mind. Nothing serious here, other than a blatant attempt to blind you all. Mainly I was messing around with the seats and jumper bodies and this happened. Name was inspired through the obnoxious colors, and I thought the "frill" on his back made me think of their winged design, albeit in the wrong orientation Quote
coolcab1 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Uhhhhhhhhhh, I don't know what to say..... Quote
CabooseBM Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I think it looks pretty cool! I love the crazy color scheme. Quote
DraikNova Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) My eyes are being burned out. Great work here! The seats as feet is pretty creative a parts usage. Edited February 16, 2014 by DraikNova Quote
Leewan Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 That's... Interesting. I think. The shape is original, I like it. I also like the seats-feet. But the Jumpers seem too forced as armors, it doesn't feel natural. Quote

Yeah, getting them on the legs was a horribly planned decision. I like the look from the front, a sort of "feathered" look, but from the sides they look terrible. And the ones i had on the shoulders got pushed back as more armor got added on. They really aren't the easiest bit to use. Though the seats I feel will have a lot of possibilities, ignoring the fact that the color makes them limited Quote
Aanchir Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Very cool design. Love the creative use of the hero seats/cockpits. The color scheme is original and slightly garish, but the colors are still very well-distributed. Great work! Quote
bacem Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 wow! you actually able to use the seat for something other than seat! great use there! Quote
DOTM Shockwave Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 That actually looks really nice! Nothing serious here, other than a blatant attempt to blind you all. Sorry, G2 Thundercracker has already blinded me Quote
Jetrax99 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I've seen things more blinding than this, and yet I can still see. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Woah. *Puts on sunglasses* nice job! Quote
Shakar Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Those feet are absolute genius. I have to use them someday.. The rest of the MOC looks really good too. The only thing I don't like is how the Jumpers have nothing to do with the flow of the mech. Then again, you were experimenting. Quote
3rdeye88 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I don't know why people have such an issue with color schemes. I personally think its awesome. It is definitely iridescent, maybe even a little garish, but its a pretty cool and maybe even unique color scheme. I think the seat as a foot looks more like you trying to use a part for using a parts sake. I don't think it quite works as a foot. Maybe if you spun them around so the longer end is facing forward, that might look cool. But definitely dat color scheme. Quote
VBBN Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 Thanks everyone! One focus here really was the feet, this is a very beasic design but I'll be trying to come up with a variety of designs, I think the piece is actually quite nice. TIs just a shame we only have two very bright colors for it Sorry, G2 Thundercracker has already blinded me AHAHAH yes that was a very questionable decision. I know some G2 stuff looked like a bag of skittles melting at the figure (I'm looking at you Bruticus) but he was just obnoxious. I don't know why people have such an issue with color schemes. As I said it's mostly experimenting. After the 500th time using the standard hero feet, it's gotten a bit boring and I wanted to go for a different look. Flipping it the other way works too, they both give different aesthetics with the things you can add on. In this case I wanted to see how "toes" would look on them so that's why they are flipped in this manner. They are a bit long n back, but Mechs don't always have proper proportions; The legs especially has a really terrible section jutting out from behind the shin due to the mess of jumper bodies I've got on there Quote
