jonfett Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I was just browsing Brickshelf and came across Jeff's gallery, I am usually pretty amazed at all the cool stuff he created.. I even own some of it. But I just think that what he is doing now is looking less like Lego everyday - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery....y.cgi?i=1130479 :/ Jon. Quote
sam89 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I was thinking that too. Most people hate skin tones because they're not like "proper minifigs", but they all love these, which are nothing like proper minifigs :/ Quote
jonfett Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 Articulated arms, articulated legs, taller than Lego minfigs, more weapons and accesories.. these sounds like Minimates to me! Jon. Quote
Jipay Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Yeah that definitly look smore like the megablocks minifigs. I like Lego minifigs because they are solid and cute. I really enjoy those. The modifyed versions of jeff are more and more extreme :| Quote
jonfett Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 I am not criticising this piece, it looks very well done, but I have always seen Jeff as the sort of person who makes weapons and accesories for figs.. this seems just a bit too un-lego-ish to me. Jon. Quote
Darkkazmo Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Although I did not purchase any thing from him yet (simply because I'm a LEGO purist), I still think he is a great designer. If I had his molding skills and money, I would start my own brick toy line as well... (LEGO in mind, not Megablocks). Quote
The Middleman Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 It reminds me of those little movie/anime licensed LEGO-style guys. Kubrick, I think? Quote
