arachnid Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Hi, I had create a mod of 42008, Full PFS with six motors and gearbox like the 8043 set Other pics here : http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=539964 I have the mlcad model if you're interested. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I can see some people complaining that you have removed the pneumatics from the model, but overall good job with the mod. Quote
arachnid Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Thanks. as I wanted to have all the functions in remote control, I chose all mechanic. Quote
D3K Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Thanks. as I wanted to have all the functions in remote control, I chose all mechanic. Good choice! And great mod! Also, the black wheels look a lot better than the original ones! Quote
unimog123 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Truly amazing! I especially love the inline 4 cylinder engine and tipping cab. I also like the black rims better as well. Quote
jantjeuh Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Well done, looks good. Pneumatics are really poorly used in this set, so I can't lament you replacing them with LA's. I bet the set is better off for it. Quote
Johnny P Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I still think its butt ugly.as for the technical side. I really like How you managed to put everything in there.and added the tilting cab.i didnt see that coming.its really playable now. very good job done here. Grtz Johnny Quote
arachnid Posted February 21, 2014 Author Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) Thanks for your comments, I also prefer the black rims It's just to change from the original set and recognize quickly the mod. Edited February 21, 2014 by arachnid Quote
imajor Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 This is really great. When I build the original model, I was also thinking on motorizing the functions, but I thought the available space is too small. And you not only made it motorized, you also added one more functions, grats! I noticed you have several digitally created images in your brickshelf folder, does that mean you maybe has an LDD file? That would be great if you could share it. Quote
Technic Gearhead Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) I really like what you have done. I have already set aside 8 black wheels for mine although I will probably build the original (pneumatic) first with some color tweaks. Edited February 26, 2014 by Technic Gearhead Quote
fpascher Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Great moc. I do have this model and didn't get a clue on how to motorize it. Do you have any instruction or a LDD of the moc? Frank Quote

dpkong Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 With so many requests for the LDD file, would it be possible to put in on a fileshare site and have a link to it here? Thanks! Quote
Erik Leppen Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Seeing how little empty space there is left (i.e. none at all) fitting all the fnctionality in looks tobe an incredible achievement! Awesome job on that. The model without the body just shows how much functionality fits in the space beneath. One of the best mods I have seen. It seems that except for the outer shell, you modified everything. Great! Quote
__________________________ Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 (edited) I would love the LDD file too!!! OR could you publish the instructions from MLCad? I don't have the program, but I'd love the instructions. ... Thanks! Edited January 19, 2015 by Jim Removed email address Quote

Blakbird Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Is this thread a trick to get new members to post their personal email addresses in a public forum? Note to new members: posting your email address in a public thread is a good way to get your mailbox filled with spam. I recommend that the OP put the file somewhere (like Bricksafe) where people can download it, or at least that interested parties contact him via Private Message. Quote
