Balrog Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Impressive. You squeezed a buggy motor in there. :D How does it perform? I assume it is rather quick. Can you make a video? Quote
tibivi Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Thanks :p I have already take some shots, but i have to edit them It is indeed rather fast, after the buggy motors fast output, there is a 20: 12 gear Quote
HorcikDesigns Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Great design, but - doesn't it roll over the roof when it is steering in high speed? Quote
tibivi Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 thanks you both :) @Gzzig: Yes it does, before any corner you must go off the throttle :p but it's fun to drive I you know that Quote
Rishab N Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Wow you managed to squeeze alot in there! Quote
N-4K0 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Good job getting that PF stuff into that small truck. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 As soon as I see the RC motor, I'm like WAOH! I bet it is fast! Nice fitting all that in such a small project! Quote
Jim Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I linked it because I can't post pics anymore I've embedded one of your images and linked the rest to Flickr. Would you be so kind to never ever ever ever ever use Comic Sans again in a post Nice little truck btw Quote
tibivi Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Thanks all for your kind words! @Jim, that's noted for the next time :D Thanks for the pictures. Quote
Rockbrick Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Impressive feat of engineering no room for a minifig though ;-) Quote
vmln8r Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Would be great to see a video. How is the robustness of the build? Quote
tibivi Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Thanks, :p @VMLN8R, yes, pretty much, just when you roll over some times, the front comes loose but nothing major. Quote
fresko Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Cool MOC! I especially like the rear part, it's almost completely closed. Has the tyres enough grip on smooth surface? Fresko Edited March 1, 2014 by fresko Quote
tibivi Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 (edited) Thanks Yes , the tyres are very sticky to the ground so it can accellerate really well :D Edited March 1, 2014 by tibivi Quote
m3eu Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Hi Tibivi, any chance for an LDD file? or a more detailed photo instruction? Quote
tibivi Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 I am working on the ldd file at the moment When they're ready, i'll place them here :) Quote
Johnny P Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I saw him drive it around the other day and i must say that its more off a race truck if you would put it in a city layout. Its really fun to watch. and it is indeed a sturdy little build. And the return to center is also great. Well done . Grtz Johnny Quote
tibivi Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Thanks :) here is the ldd file of it minifigscaledRCtruck.lxf have fun with it Quote
