B-Lister Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 What is the program used to build this in 3-D? Amazing work, btw. Quote
JopieK Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 probably it is POV-Ray :) http://triangle717.w...ldd/ldd2povray/ Quote
vean Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) Very nice shop! I like it! Here is a pov ray render with some stickers added with Photoshop: Click on the pic to see it in higher definition. I slighly altered the lamp to increase it. Here is a stereo render of this model (need red and blue glasses) to see this giant cup of coffee in 3D. Coffee ! Coffee ! COFFEE ! jonwil Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I too think Cuusoo would be perfect for this. Its not so large that it wouldn't work as a Cuusoo product. Its cool enough that AFOLs would be interested (heck, I can see plenty interested just so they can have a coffee shop in their town even disregarding the LEGO Movie connection) and its got the tie to the LEGO Movie for kid appeal. JopieK Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 Thanks vean :) photoshop really works well ;) I thought of a square sticker for the cup with only the eyes though, but this also works very well ;) @jonwil, I don't think LEGO will really consider it, although, we could give it a 'overpriced coffee' shot of course ;) Quote
splatman Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Replace Coffee with LEGO, and would probably describe most of us. Quote
jonwil Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Worst that can happen from putting it on Cuusoo is that it doesn't get to 10k or it gets to 10k and gets passed over in favor of something better. Either way, it cant hurt... Quote
Only Sinner Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 This is a really swell idea, and I agree with everything being awsome, too. Great job with the stickers by the way. Quote
Zorkalorp Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Great! Wonderfully built! Looking forward to the .lxf ... Quote
