Sariel Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I had to build this thing, because how else could I show you a hamster rescuing a Lego zombie from drowning? A few photos are coming soon... Quote
JGW3000 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Great build and video, and I learned that Hamsters like chicken Quote
skriblez Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Always enjoy your videos. Now you made me want the control center and a monorail even more :P Quote
Sariel Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 Now you made me want the control center and a monorail even more :P And a hamster, I presume? ;) Quote
skriblez Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 And a hamster, I presume? ;) Hamster and cat wouldn't go to well i think :( Quote
Sariel Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 The boat IS motorized, as video shows. Quote
lukeandahalf Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Sariel, fantastic! Nice to see allot of 9V. And the monorail... I've had hamsters, mice and rats, and unfortunately none of them liked my Lego. The bit at the end where the hamster was sleeping made my morning! Quote
Doc_Brown Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 This looks like a ton of fun to play with! Sweet project. Quote
Chilly Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Brilliant Sariel, and I think you've just increased the price of the controllers. Might be time to sell one of mine Quote
TinkerBrick Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 A great start into the day. Nice terminal and great use of the "ancient" Control Center. Probably, I should dig mine out and build something using it. Quote
Sariel Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Thank you for your kind words. The photos and a little description are here: http://sariel.pl/2014/03/monorail-mk7-cargo-terminal/ The Control Center worked flawlessly, and I'm greatly impressed with it. I'm already thinking of some other ways to put it into use. Quote
doug72 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) Good use of the Lego Control Centre (LCC). See my Transfer Crane which also uses the LCC http://www.flickr.co.../116189129@N03/ The two memory functions are great to have models run on auto. Hiding the wires is the only downside.
