Posted March 3, 201411 yr The civil war in Nocturnus has been terrible for business. The Kazzar, still loyal to Lord Ssilyrrlith, have decided to flee Nocturnus and the tyranny of the Black Spire. They are currently traveling along the Old Forest Road on the way to Avalonia, where they hope to find better trading opportunities. UoP Claims: Hydrology - still water, Trade and Law - caravan, geography - swamp, Anthropology - Life in Nocturnus
March 3, 201411 yr Ooooh lovely. That tree is amazing. And I am in pure envy of your red leaves! Nice technique on the wagon sides,it looks great.
March 3, 201411 yr DAT TREE. This is really lovely, everything comes together so well. Even the caravan wagons look right for the setting!
March 3, 201411 yr Excellent build, Torgar, especially that tree Great design for the wagons as well, and awesome landscaping
March 3, 201411 yr The wagons are the highlight of this, by itself really great, build. The angled set up and the colour contrasts really bring something to the scene.
March 3, 201411 yr Wow, Torgar! The wagons are excellent and I love the landscaping from the ground to the water! And the tree….I'm speechless. Amazing build with tons of great angles!
March 3, 201411 yr Wow! Fantastic build, that tree is amazing and the rest of the landscaping is superb as well! Very nice carriages as well, particularly the front one! +1 DoH!
March 3, 201411 yr Wonderful build! I especially like the tree and the wagons, although they look a bit large to be pulled by one horse each? UoP +1 for the claimed credits.

This was a simple way to get one of my characters to Avalonia for the second challenge, so I have the option of using them. Thanks MKJoshA, the wagon sides are held up using 1x1 modified plates with horizontal clips attached to horizintal bars running the length of the wagon. They are quite stable. UoP +1 for the claimed credits. Thanks Gideon! I tried two horses, but I didnt think it looked quite right for the scene. I wanted to make it look like they were fleeing Nocturnus at a snails pace. Maybe they will pick up a second horse or somthing else to pull their wagons on their next stop . I'd like to use these wagons in a few differnt mocs if time permits. March 4, 201411 yr What a landscape! The reddish brown banks look amazing as does the enormous tree The dark green for stagnant water is also quite effective, especially as an irregular base

March 9, 201410 yr Beautiful build! I LOVE the tree AND the wagons. All the other details are excellent as well. Welcome to Avalonia, there should be some warmer climes along the Avalonia/Kaliphlin border that might suit the Kazzar well.
March 11, 201410 yr Thats what I thought when I opened the thread and saw the first image! Stunning work! Brilliant techniques for the tree and the wagons (lovely!) - the only criticism I would have is the 'water'. To me it doesn't work that well, personally I favor 1x1 trans tiles as they give you more depth. Personal thing I guess. Tremendous build, you keep coming back with awesome mocs! Keep up the great work!
