Hello everybody,

Today I'd like to show you my new moc. It is a kind of american hot rod with independent suspension and a working V8 (only when the rear wheels are moving). It also has working front wheels' steering via the gear on the roof. Inspired by the B-model of 8070, I wanted to have some practice in making similar vehicles, and that's what I got after many unsuccessful attempts:

The rear part of the car doesn't looks like the one from real hot rod, because I made some experiments while building it:

V8. No need to comment this part of the car. :)

The doors can be opened:

The close-up of the front part:

Hope you liked it. :)

Thanks for watching!

Looks really awesome! The rear part looks very futuristic.

The modern/futuristic look makes this a hot rod after my taste

Thank you!

Nicely done! Is there enough room for PFs?

Thanks! Yes, there is enough room for PFs, but the battery box doesn't fit in entirely and makes the rear part look really ugly. :(

Very nice!

42000 only or did you use some other parts as well? Haven't built the 42000 yet, so I am not really sure.

Thank you!

About the half of the parts (mainly panels and beams) were taken from 42000, the other ones are from 8070 (including the parts of suspension) and some other sets.

This is really nice! A good blend of styles, modern hot rod with futuristic characteristics.

I like the colour combination too, but mostly the suicide doors!:thumbup:
