Lost_In_Noise Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Beautiful and well-working MOC. It's great that you have added your own music to it also, and the instructions look good also. Thanks for sharing! Quote

Lundgren Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 First BL order came today! Waiting for some more, hopefully they'll arrive next week! Quote
ritztoys Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) Currently gathering parts for this 2nd Truck of yours. While I was displaying your 1st truck and trailer, someone recognized your MOC at the show. This gentleman said he was also gathering parts for this truck, so now you know there will be two of these creations In Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Keep designing, your 1st truck was extremely popular at the show and the best looking of any MOC, IMHO. Edited March 10, 2014 by ritztoys Quote

I can tell for sure that is not enough to build this model... At least it is a start, but you need more I suppose you have a lot of parts yourself already... Yes I am proud of that, two of those in Indianapolis IN, USA... Yes I will be designing, I will not give of up for sure, thanks in your interest and trust!!! Edited March 12, 2014 by 2LegoOrNot2Lego... Quote
Lundgren Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Hahaha :) well that was just the first order! I'm getting there, about 80% now! Maybe build start in the next week!? Quote
ritztoys Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Lundgren when I saw your photo it made me LOL , as I'm working off those same printed-off pieces of paper. I'm getting there too in acquiring all the parts. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) Yeah! Now you are getting somewhere... Edited March 13, 2014 by 2LegoOrNot2Lego... Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) Here are some pictures of how the parts looked like when sitting on the table to be checked. The entire process of creating instructions includes checking the number of all the specific parts. Well here it is in progress... Edited March 13, 2014 by 2LegoOrNot2Lego... Quote
Lundgren Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 (edited) @ Ritztoys, yeah sometimes it's easier to keep track on which parts I miss on a paper than the computer! @ Ingmar, yep as I said I'm getting there! ;) but I made a little miss when ordering the parts. I made a wanted list for BL via Rebrickable but forgot that I had used lot of my parts when I built Grazi's tow truck so that's why I only got 80% of the needed parts. So I have to do more BL orders! :( But I bought the instructions last week and had a look at them, they are really good! Now I'm only waiting for the instructions for the lowboy trailer! That would look awesome after this truck with M Longers Liebherr on it! Or even better, your tracked hauler!!! Don't you think!? Edited March 13, 2014 by Lundgren Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 About keeping track, the best is to insert/add all your inventory to Rebrickable.com I guess. With this you know what parts are used and which are not. But...maybe you are right, the paper thing is the best... So you have to wait a little longer because of the missing parts, to bad... Thanks for the kind words on the instructions, I really put in a lot of effort to get them both look well and being correct. The price is a little steep, but you get value for you money... About the lowboy, yes that would be an amazing combination. The thing is that the Heavy Duty Truck is especially designed to go with that lowboy. I refer to it as US Truck T3. Another truck that works great with the lowboy trailers is the US Truck T12. Why? you might wonder. Well here is the deal: In order to make the gooseneck work properly the fifth wheel need to be a little more to the front. So basically both US Truck T1 MkII and US Truck T2 MkII can be combined with the lowboy trailers, but will not work correctly. So sitting on a shelf, there is no problem, but operating is not possible. What might work is to add the jeep as shown in the pictures below. Normally with a load as the Liebherr L 580 a jeep is not required, but consider it to be a conversion kit. It allows you to make the combination as you described. Quote
oldcasper Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 So beautiful. I wonder how heavy it is... Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 So beautiful. I wonder how heavy it is... The truck this topic is about is approximately 2kg... Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) As I commented on several web pages this same model will be available in different colors. Here is a picture that shows you what to expect. It took me a while to get the render software going and even a little longer to operate it. Finally I did... Obviously the desirable color (scheme) of a model is subject to builders preference. With every new build I want the color scheme to be different again. Since I do not build direct copies I have to come up with it myself. In order to give builders the chance to build this particular model in a different color to meet there preference I decided to add different schemes. So for those who like to build this model in a different color here is a preview. A preview of what to expect. For all four of these colors shown in this picture instructions will be available as well as the required parts list. Edited March 14, 2014 by 2LegoOrNot2Lego... Quote

afol1969 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Hi Ingmar, The low trailer and the gooseneck are very interesting, do you have instructions from these? I know it will take lot of effort to make instructions, because I'm counting too to the instruction makers So you have my respect. Have you seen that I've made instructions from your rotating grapple? Greetings Alex Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Instructions for the detachable gooseneck lowboy trailer both with liftable axle and flip axle are on there way. So that is the good thing... Yes it takes an enormous amount of time not only because of the process itself I also put a lot of effort in making them look unique. For me it is like building MOCs, it has to be clear those instructions are created by me. To give it a signature so to speak is very important for me! No, I didn't know you did instructions for the rotating grapple. I did look it up and you did a fine job on that, that is for sure! As I stated earlier this message I want my instructions not to be "out of the box". I give it a personal touch and that is very important to me. Just to be clear, I am not telling anyone else to do so... Thanks for your interest and the grapple looks fine on the Unimog!!! Quote
Lundgren Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Well I'm getting there! 96% of the needed parts looks like this anyhow ;) The rest is on its way! Just need to order the servo, receiver, train remote and 2 more LED's Then it's build time! Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Yes you are most certainly very close!!! This looks more like the completely filled table I showed... About the table, it looks like you and I have almost the same table and chairs... Quote
Lundgren Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Yes now I'm really close! Oh yes we seem to have very similar taste! hahaha ;) Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Yeah I guess so...hahaha... Quote
spongebrickpl Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 When You finish please make some photos and movie to share with us. Ingmar I got a task for You. Please make a movie with all Your trucks running in a convoy. That would be awesome- dont You think? Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Ingmar I got a task for You. Please make a movie with all Your trucks running in a convoy. That would be awesome- dont You think? Yes you are absolutely right about that! The only thing is, I do not have many trucks assembled. As with all builders I have to re-use my parts. I do run out of parts myself too... Right now I only have two finished trucks and four finished trailers. So a road train with two tractors would be an option... Obviously I do have some WIPs but not ready to be used/shown... Quote
Zerobricks Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 (edited) And use the convoy song :D Edited March 24, 2014 by Zblj Quote
