2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Well, thanks ritztoys for sharing your build of this model with us, as well as your others! Nice to know there is one of these in the US! The design is US oriented, so I am very happy with it! The second picture is just amazing, the one with the container in the back. This really makes the truck come to live. And I am happy the Technic guys did identify the other truck, if I am correct there is this other topic here on EB about it @ Lundgren, nice to see that you are back and building again! I am curious how this one will going to look like in the end... Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 It's nice to see that all around the globe, people are building you models. You must be a proud man  Quote

Lundgren Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Hoe many are you going to build One could never get too many of Ingmars creations! ;) :D Quote
Lundgren Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Pretty darn good lookin' (and yep, as you can see I'm still missing 8 pieces 1x1 dark red bricks to the red version ) Remember i told you guys I had a secret regarding this black version... is anyone curious why I haven't shown any pics of the chassis? Edited June 3, 2014 by Lundgren Quote
ritztoys Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Well of course I am............ did a mystery virus cause all these 'secret paint versions' to evolve from this great MOC. I think it's spreading............any more unknown builders suffering from this affliction? Builders show your stuff.............Lundgren & I aren't the only ones building these trucks, right? Come on you all, post some of your builds. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Congratulations your moc has bean added to the Hall Of Fame. Well, to be honest, I didn't see that one coming!!! Never the less, I am very happy with it!!! Congrats Ingmar!!! Well worth it! The black beast is coming along nicely! Thanks!!! And yes it is coming along nicely, keep it up... Congrats mate with your Hall of Fame  Thanks buddy! That is very much appreciated! Pretty darn good lookin' Remember i told you guys I had a secret regarding this black version... is anyone curious why I haven't shown any pics of the chassis? Yes it is good looking and I love the view of the Red one sitting in front of your computer showing my BI and you are working on the Black one the same time, very nice!!! About the chassis, I didn't wonder because I love the way you build it right now. Building it without a chassis, I thought you did it on purpose Well what are you plans on the chassis? Are you going to remove the Red body work and replace it with the Black body work? BTW, you have a nice "stand" to support the Red version. I support all my models for many years now in a similar way, this to prevent the rubber belts from stretching to much. This way you keep the RB's in the best possible shape! So thanks for showing us... Builders show your stuff.............Lundgren & I aren't the only ones building these trucks, right? Come on you all, post some of your builds. Yes, I agree, share your builds with us. Inspire us to build more and other to build it as well. Maybe in the future we might be in the Guinness Book of Records. So thanks for showing us... No no no the red one is as it is! No changes there! Yes the stand is very good when I'm not letting my kids drive it. And of course as you said for letting the rubberbands rest! Well lets just say that ritztoys made his Desert ver. a little shorter, I'm going the other way! Maybe in the future we might be in the Guinness Book of Records. A picture showing all versions of this MOC Hehe that would indeed be cool! Just let me know when it's happening! Quote

I guess you are sure about that buddy! For me as a builder it is all happiness too, that is for sure... Yes the stand is very good when I'm not letting my kids drive it. Well lets just say that ritztoys made his Desert ver. a little shorter, I'm going the other way! Does is perform well when your kids drive it around. It is quite easy to handle, but fragile since it is LEGO O now I see, you go the other way. That also means you have to add a little length to the skirts...I am curious how that will look like... Quote
Lundgren Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Yes it performs really well! But the train remote is a little difficult for my 4 year old kid but the 7 year old one gets it! ;) Well nope not the skirts, but the chassis will be 12 studs longer right after the skirts. It'll be a liftable second axle before the 2 driving axles. Which means more RC stuff (2 receivers) I will also try to make the coupler by RC (the locking mechanism). Might post some pictures this evening??? Quote

Thanks for doing so and sharing it with us, very nice to see that people take my MOC in to there own hands and "remodel" them!!! Some picture will be nice indeed Quote
Lundgren Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Well here's some pics. I really hope that I can realize my idea about the lift axle (it's not much room left in the chassis) but I will absolutely give it a try! I'll probably will have to let the idea go about making the coupler RC cause of no space to put the motor Edited June 5, 2014 by Lundgren Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) To start with, I really like the way you build this one up. As I wrote before, I also like the way you display things to us. Imagine I even managed to give this Heavy Duty Truck of mine a liftable steered axle... BI for that specific model will be available later this year, but I know you can't wait... This is really what I love about the way you build, you give it a try yourself. Well keep it up, keep on trying and thanks for sharing these pics. This really give us an idea of what you are building. One last "comment". Please realize the more rubber, the more friction less better it performs. Never the less I think you should go on with it, but your kids might not have as much fun as with the 3 axles version. So that one is theirs and this Black Beast is yours... About the coupler system. What I did was using a string from the sleeper to the fifth wheel. This string operates the fifth wheel and was powered with a system sitting inside the cabine. A string doesn't take much room and this might still work with this creation of yours... Lundgren Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 (edited) Well to be honest I'm really really glad that you produce BI to these WONDERFUL creations! (As you probably know I've bought them all! ;) And as ritztoys said you're the only creator of these "model team" creations with BI's! And yep, as you said can't wait for the next truck as we discussed when I showed my build of the detachable gooseneck trailer! (which I'm also waiting for BI to! ;) ) A steerable lift axle you say!? Can't wait to see how you did that!???? Well the motors are where the skirt is at the T1 truck is but still!!!??? I mean the chassis is only 6 studs wide! Looking forward to more BI's from you! 2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 7, 2014 Author Posted June 7, 2014 It excites me to read comments like these. Satisfying to know there are a bunch of guys, and I hope girls as well , who really are into these models of mine. Never did I realize I am about the only one who builds model team creations (with PF!!!) and that released BI and parts lists for it. There are so many great truck builders, but apparently I am the only one that makes others able to build them as well, good to know. To know this is really rewarding and I surely will release much much more!!! Yeah, I know what it is that you are waiting for please be patient... The truck with the liftable steered axle will be released this December. The Detachable Gooseneck Lowboy Trailer will be released March 2015. It all sound far far away (from these marvelous movies SW), but again it takes a load of time to create these BI I am sure you realize this now that you build many of my models You are right, the chassis is only 6 studs wide and the space in between only is 4! Never the less I did manage to get it done One hint as you can see in the movie on this truck, I use Pneumatics. The advantage is you can install the air pump anywhere in the truck, for example inside the skirts?, and let the Pneumatic cylinder do all the work A mechanical solution like in this trailer I released is way to large to fit in. Have fun building and have a nice weekend, and remember, don't give up, that is what I did, never give up and that gave birth to these creations of mine!!! Quote
Lundgren Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Well believe it or not Ingmar but I've actually found 3 places to place som motors! Just need to figure out how to get it to do the functions it need to do! And the chassis is now 12 studs longer! (place for the extra axle) (yes missing one little piece...) Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 You are doing an excellent job here!!! The roof is nicely adjusted to fit both Receivers, I did this on some truck too exactly the same way... It is a little crowded inside the cabin now with all the wires. With the roof on, you no longer notice it... About the M-motor location, I think it is brilliant. Yes, how do you get it connected with what it is suppose to do? Well good luck on that one!!! Thanks again for sharing these pictures. Quote
Lundgren Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) Thanks Ingmar! well I have some ideas i will try out. Yes, it's really crowded in the cab with all the wires but as you said no one will se it later! This is going to be a real beast! Edited June 11, 2014 by Lundgren Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 WOW, yet it is going to one heck of a massive beast, that is for sure!!! Quote
