Rockmaninoff Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Hey Brickmasta, thanks for the awesome instructions -- I remember you were working on the Lego Movie Batmobile...did you ever make any more progress with that? Would love to build that as well. Quote
Brickmasta Posted August 24, 2016 Author Posted August 24, 2016 No progress, taking a bit of a break from LEGO... but might get motivated again by the new movie, there seems to be some cool stuff to build :) Quote
Brickmasta Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 The Instruction is still available, with the LEGO BATMAN MOVIE around the corner: http://brickmasta.sinful.at/the-batwing-instructions-available/ Quote

Moneytachi Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 (edited) @Brickmasta, I have a two questions to ask you. Where can I find the instructions for the "Batwing" for the Lego Movie? NDLG80 Posted March 30, 2023 Posted March 30, 2023 (edited) Always had great appreciation for this mammoth build...@Brickmasta and @mink66 you both have done an amazing job bringing this build to life, thanks for sharing all your photos... After building the TLM Batmobile a few years ago I am kinda wondering if I should give the TLM Batwing a try at some stage. However due to the size of it, and lack of space at home, can either if you confirm whether or not the Batwing would be structurally stable if it was permanently mounted vertically (obviously would need to construct a stand out of technic), so maybe it could be displayed on top of a shelf up against a wall? Many thanks in advance!! :-) Edited March 30, 2023 by NDLG80 Quote

Stability on those wings would certainly be my main concern and will have to take that into consideration for sure.. @mink66 I noticed you had modified the wings slightly from Brickmasta's design and made them more stable and even maybe "swooshable" Is your Batwing stable when held vertically by the cockpit at all or do the wings feel like they will come apart? Thanks guys!! :-) Quote
NDLG80 Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 (edited) Better late than never, however I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to @Brickmasta for the detailed, movie accurate instructions for the Lego Movie Batwing that I finally got around to buiding this year. Also a shoutout and another thank you to @mink66 for the detailed photos of the wing modifications to help them remain more stable. I also very slightly modified the connection to the wings by adding an extra technic pin connector on each side that holds the wings in place a little more... I also added some custom decals to make it look a little more movie accurate. I would highly recommend getting in contact with Brickmasta to buy the instructions and use Mink66 photos to modify the wings as I have downloaded other lxf files for this build and this one is the best and most accurate to the movie!!
