lucasanakin Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 as i promised yesterday, now i post some pictures of the new ferrari truck. it was a long time of building fun and even more time of "stickering" http://members.chello.at/twisted/truck.htm have fun with these pics Quote
jonfett Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Thanks for all the pics, this looks like a really nice set. I like the cabin and the body of the truck, the SNOT method works really well. The extra things included like the tools for the pit crew look good and there is certainly enough figures. Its just a shame there are so many stickers :/ Jon. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Thanks for putting the effort of posting great pics so soon :) I really look forward to get mine (but not to spend hours of useless stickering :-D ) It will look cool next to the pit stop set. Also now I can have my Rubbens F1!!!! Quote
Ras 74 Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Thanks for the nice pics. Looks very nice and detailed. Probably not a set I will get though... Quote
selder Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Mmm ... let's see if I have still enough money to go buy this set ... this looks good! :) Quote
The Middleman Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Looks good, but not good enough for the price and the stickers. Quote
Jipay Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 I spent 399$. Time for a break I think ^^ :) I wont buy this set because it's too red :P Quote
jedijeff Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 that thing is huge :D.I dont like how many stickers you get when you buy the set |-/ Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 that thing is huge :D.I dont like how many stickers you get when you buy the set |-/ Nobody told you you have to place the stickers. ;) jipay, last time I checked, the Ferrari team has been red since the beginning of time. :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 This week-end we did not see a lot of red ;) , but more yellow and blue( tks Renault :-D ) Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 There could have been more red if it wasn't for the stupid Hedfield who bumped Schumi out. Oh well Barrichelo got in second and that's very good but I have a feeling Ferrari will have some major competition from Renault (NOOO!!!). :) Quote

This shows how Ferrari is the best team ever!!!!!! I kind of think that it would be nice for Renault (who brought up all the major technical changes in F1, like the V10...) to do really good this season (1 or 2)!!! Anyway with Jean Todt in control of Ferrari, France wins :-D :P Quote
popnfresh Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 There could have been more red if it wasn't for the stupid Hedfield who bumped Schumi out. Oh well Barrichelo got in second and that's very good but I have a feeling Ferrari will have some major competition from Renault (NOOO!!!). :) schumi took the worst line i have ever seen on that turn and left no room, he deserved to be bumped :P Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Ok, schumi took the curve normally and hedfield out of nowhere just bumped into him. Hedfield had no right to try to pass if he could see he had no chance and I think he did it on purpose because he didn't even try to lock the brakes and avoid hitting schumi...very similar to when schumi bumped villneuve (sp?) to not win the championship. It was very long time ago, forgot the year. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Really, even if I admire Shumi (really admire him), he usually has a tendency to think that people will let him pass. He did not handle the curve well. These things just happen, and Heidfeld is not a stupid pilot like others on the paddock!! Shumi really had no luck this week-end: going under the rain & braking his engine!! It will be interesting to see a little competition for once ;) Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 it's funny because it started pouring exactly when he came on the circuit!!! next stop Malaysia in 1 and a half weeks. What I really want to see in F1 is suspense and action, over-taking, battling for positions and crashes!!! (I don't want for the pilots to get hurt but crashes in F1 are spectacular) Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I think this season will be full of "suspense and action, over-taking, battling for positions and crashes!!! " Not too many crashes though (unless its in a rainy spa :-D ). Great battles in perspective *satis* Quote
