Posted March 9, 201410 yr Hello Everyone, Let me share with you my latest MOC. I could not find a better name than Market Street. I have purchased recently a couple of Prince of Persia sets, and really enjoyed the building. I figured I could use them to make a nice street. The whole street is made of three modular sections. My wife took the pictures. I have to admit that it was quite hard for her to get a nice view of the entire street. Market Street - All by Kinggregus, on Flickr Luckily, my wife took some close up pictures, here is the left wing: Market - West by Kinggregus, on Flickr Close up of the main gate: Front Gate by Kinggregus, on Flickr Close up of the right wing (unfortunately the fountain, which I am quite proud of, does not show really well): Market - East by Kinggregus, on Flickr And now, the back of the right wing. The library has a secret shelf that leads right into the treasure room: Library + Treasure Room by Kinggregus, on Flickr The back of the main gate, nothing exceptionnal: Front Gate - Back by Kinggregus, on Flickr The back of the left wing, it includes a cave, a stair and the armory room: Armory + Cave by Kinggregus, on Flickr Thanks for looking,
March 9, 201410 yr That is really great! I recognize quite a few of he PoP elements. Just how many PoP sets did you use to make this? Last year I made a PoP/ Market Street inspired MOC, a carpet/coffee shop/outdoor market. Been meaning to make some other PoP inpspired set. Your Market Street may be the kick in the pants I need. Great MOC! Thanks for sharing is with us. Andy D

Great MOC! Thanks for sharing is with us. Andy D Thanks a lot Andy. I had from the beginning the battle of Alamut. However, I found out that the fight for the dager and the Ostrich Race were still being sold on Amazon.co.uk below RRP. I bought 2x the fight for the dagger and 1x the Ostrich Race. In regards to your market street, I seem to be able to find only the WIP, would you link me to the final one? I would love to see some other people's work on that line.
March 10, 201410 yr This is great kingregus! Have you thought of joining Kaliphlin in the Guilds of Historica? This type of build would fit perfectly! I really like the details you have put in with the library and the market stands. Lovely build!
March 11, 201410 yr Author Thanks a lot everyone for your comments. They are very encouraging. I just wish I could have had better quality pictures. This is great kingregus! Have you thought of joining Kaliphlin in the Guilds of Historica? This type of build would fit perfectly! I really like the details you have put in with the library and the market stands. Lovely build! I have to admit that I am fascinated by the work you and the other MOCers do in the Guilds of Historica. Unfortunately, as I am in my early MOCing stage, I am trying my hands on different themes/environments to see which one suits me best. For instance, I believe that my next MOC will be closer to the Avalonia style.
March 11, 201410 yr ... Snip In regards to your market street, I seem to be able to find only the WIP, would you link me to the final one? I would love to see some other people's work on that line. I never got around to taking photos of the final product. When I get other projects finished, such as sort and store and get my photo set-up put together I plan to photo a few MOCs. Maybe in a couple of months. The main difference betwen the WIP and the final MOC is a complete tiling of the interior and exterior. My MOC is much smaller thn yours, mine is closer to the size and design o a traditional modular. Looking forward to your next PoP inspired MOC. Andy D
January 14, 201510 yr I can't stop looking at this. So much, in fact, that I have bought 3 of the Battle Of Alamut sets and a few of the other smaller ones. I really love what you have done here.
