Farnsworth house and Villa Savoye were reasonably accurate models of examples of an architecture style that I find to be a bit over-hyped and not particularly interesting, I've been building boxy houses out of Lego since I was four, why do I need a famous Architect to "inspire" yet another box? Those models, in my mind were too "safe", too close to the natural form of the bricks themselves to really feel compelling.

The Farnsworth house is fairly uninteresting as a building, to me, but the Villa Savoye is enthralling to look at. There, too, is the curved section on the roof of the Villa Savoye that is rendered well in the set.

Initially I had no interest in these sets, except where I saw other uses for the pieces they contained.

But recently I decided that the Leaning Tower of Pisa was about the right size and look to work into a version of the Disneyland Small World I plan to build.

Then I started looking to see if other sets in this series might also fit well into that.

Really, I think the DL Small World really has only a face to most of the architecture elements worked into that design.

Then inside the Small World, the structures are much smaller.

But until I get back to DL to look at this closer, I am not really sure.

(Trip to DL is booked for October).

Tan: Fallingwater, Imperial Hotel, Louvre.

White: Trevi Fountain, White House.

Others: Robie House.

I always thought they should come up with some dark tan based sets.. haha.

I only voted for 3, but the Robie House is my favorite.

I think it's a great design, a great LEGO interpretation, and it has the best value for me in terms of useful bricks.

They are definitely easier to build now they include a brick separator in the box.

No 1 for me, 21020 Trevi Fountain purely because I used to walk past it every day going to and from work, and it reminds me of those days.

I only collect the NYC buildings, from which there are five now, but they don't make up my top five. That would be, in no particular order:

Fallingwater, Rockefeller Center, United Nations Headquarters, Brandenburg Gate and Sungnyemun.
