IcedCOffee Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I think this is the first time I share something here, but here I am. I am totally in love with the new Hero Factory 14 product, and be studing on how to modify them for a while. And here is the first mecha come out of this study Battle Mecha Breeze When I look at the line up that is out in the market now, I found that breez doesn't have a mecha! And that's why she is getting one now Overview: Cockpit Look: Weapon collection overview: Build-in Weapon: - Chainsaw on wrist armor Equipment: - Sniper canon, with ammo pack - Machine Gun (From 2011 sets) - Energy Shield Now Breez is done, Time to build another one Rocka seems nice -------------------------------------- If you are interested in what other stuff I had build in the past, please visit my flickr page as below. https://www.flickr.com/photos/iced_coffee/ Quote
-Horizon- Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Really awesome looking IcedCOffee! really like the sniper. Quote
Artifox Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I really like how this actually looks like a battlemech. Great work! Quote
DraikNova Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Nice. It seems a bit bulky for Breez, but it's still very impressive and functional looking. The shortness of the arms, the lack of extra armor for the cockpit and the lack of a hero core on Breez detract a bit from the model, though. That, and the fact that there's no shot of the back . Mutant Orc Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Isn't she a light metallic silver Hero? Maybe lighter grey would make the model look a bit more Breeze-y. Maybe this bulkiness would better for one of the gents if you swap the colours around, then build another for Breez? Or keep this one and build another? Or possibly the best thing would be to ignore me 'cause I'm not that good at mechs myself! Don't get me wrong though- It's a good mech! Quote
Cirkit Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I agree with Mutant Orc in regards to the color- silver would look more fitting for this Mech and Breez herself, but the way it looks now is very cool. I like that it uses the same kind of gun we saw when the new CCBS system came out, and that sniper cannon looks terrific. I also like how you managed to put the hex shield on there. It works rather well, considering Breez got it in her "Breakout" form, and it never hurts to have some extra protection! My only gripes are the silver (which for the squarish clip-armor is currently only available in the Brain-Attack Bulk), and the lack of the Hero-Core on the minifigure. It's like she's missing her heart, and it is a little off-putting. Overall, though.. I like how this baby looks. Hope to see more mechs (and maybe monsters?) from you soon! :) Quote

The original Natalie Breez set was primarily Bright Yellowish Green and Black. Breez 2.0 was Bright Yellowish Green and Titanium Metallic. Breez was Bright Yellowish Green and White in Breakout, and in Brain Attack she featured all sorts of colors (Bright Yellowish Green, Titanium Metallic, Silver Metallic, and Transparent Bright Green). And in Invasion from Below she has Silver Metallic body armor, but her machine (Breez Flea Machine) uses mainly Titanium Metallic. So there's about as much precedent for her using Titanium Metallic as using Silver Metallic, and to be honest I really think Titanium Metallic suits this particular model better than Silver Metallic would. Anyway, love this machine. It's brilliantly beefy and well-armored. Its color scheme is very nicely distributed as well. I somewhat think that a melee weapon would suit her better than a projectile weapon, since in Ordeal of Fire she was the team's close-combat specialist. But the gun is still mighty fine. Quote
Kalhiki Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Man. Puts the one I built to shame... This is absolutely great. Especially love its arsenal. Quote
