gedren_y Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) After the Revolword War Aturl Prndrn, Nestlands Clans Minister of External Affairs, spent several months at the University of Petraea. He spent much of his time helping to get recorded the Nestlands Clans part in the war effort. Among the fallen were Captain of the Ghuin Nol High Guard Hugh Hos and High Guard Pikeman Leiym Koll. Their armor, uniforms and weapons were cleaned, repaired and set for display in the University Library, along with scrolls detailing their heroism at the Battle of Queenscross. "Beautiful," exclaimed the Minister, "A fine setting for their investiture, Professor. My compliments to your preservationists, their uniforms don't even look damaged." "Thank you, Minister," replied Professor Illam Shiek'spar, "Is there anything you would like added to the scrolls. Their final resting place, perhaps." "Aaah . . ." the Minister considered, "Just add that their bodies were offered in the Bird Ceremony, the highest honor a fallen Nestlands warrior can receive." ------------------------------ I would like to claim the UoP DoH credit General Building: interior design. Scaevola Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) + 1 UoP DoH Very nice build (what are those gold pieces you used for the scrolls?) Edited March 31, 2014 by Scaevola Quote
Gideon Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Nice interior details, UoP +1 for that However, I think the lighting is a bit too sharp for an interior scene. Quote
SkaForHire Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I also give it a +1 interior. I really like it! The wall design is very cool... definitely reminds me of a museum display. Quote
gedren_y Posted March 31, 2014 Author Posted March 31, 2014 (edited) Thanks everyone. + 1 UoP DoH Very nice build (what are those gold pieces you used for the scrolls?) They are this new part found in the Friends and Disney Princesses lines. Mine came out of Ariel's Magical Kiss. Lots of good Kaliphlin parts there. Nice interior details, UoP +1 for that However, I think the lighting is a bit too sharp for an interior scene. Yes. I did the photography outside, but there were not enough clouds in the sky for good diffused lighting. It didn't quite crack the 80 degree mark, but it came close. I also give it a +1 interior. I really like it! The wall design is very cool... definitely reminds me of a museum display. Exactly what I was going for. Being remembered in the University Library is an honor that should be given to all of the fallen defenders at the Battle of Queenscross. Edited March 31, 2014 by gedren_y Quote
robuko Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Ooh nice! Love the curtains and the purple floor! Too many brave souls were lost that day Quote
Gabe Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Lilac in a build! Great stuff, i always like the offbeat colour combos. I really like the curtains too and some of the detailing like the upside-down gold beards. (Brickforge?) A fitting memorial indeed to the courage of the fallen. Quote
