Bob De Quatre Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 A few clarifications: - There will be no deadline extent - You can enter the two categories (with different entries), but you'll be only eligible to receive one prize. For example if you win both categories, you will receive 1st prize of category A, and the prize of category B will be given to the member who gets the second place. Are the microscale or miniland allowed? There is no restriction on scale. There is only a restriction on size, and the subject must be in the sci-fi range. Quote

Bkrosell Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) I might get something put together but I'm really busy lately so don't count on it. EDIT: also, does starwars count as sci- fi or do you mean only themes in the sci- fi forum? Edited April 3, 2014 by Bkrosell Quote
viracocha Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Can't understand how one could distinguish the base from the home! Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 Is artificial lighting okay? You mean when taking pictures? Yes no problem, but post also pictures with "normal" light Quote
Brother Steven Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 You mean when taking pictures? Yes no problem, but post also pictures with "normal" light I mean like wired lights inside the actual MOC. Such as Lifelites. Would those be okay? Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 Lifelites are considered third party custom bricks... so not allowed Quote

Getn Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I don't understand something. The task consists that I need to build not the simple house, it is necessary the house of the future or Steampunk. Did I get it right? Quote

You get it right You have to build a "house" that belongs to one of the Sci-Fi themes (space, steampunk, time travel, near future, etc...). It doesn't have to be based on an official Lego theme. Kez Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Just a question: "The goal of this contest is to build a home for your favorite Sci-fi theme, official or not." Does this mean that we could perhaps build something based from a film or video game eg. The Matrix, Star Wars, Halo etc or does this contest rule them out? Quote

You can build from any video games or movies, except for star wars since it's not covered by Eurobricks Sci-Fi subforum Quote
