JangBricks has uploaded reviews of all Series 2 Mixels, including Maxes:

Frosticons:

Fang Gang:

Flexers:

Maxes:

That's great, and well thought out, but you should make your own topic for it (when you can) so that it can get separate attention.

The new Series 3 Mixels actually look really really good! But am I the only one who thinks that Glurt looks like he could be Jawg's long lost brother? (well, they both seem to share the same basic design, being quadrupedal dog-like creatures)

Jokes aside, I think I actually like the Spikels the best, but I really do like them all. I never thought you could make scorpion based creatures look so cute!

Now I'm torn between the Wiztastics and Spikels as my favourite. Well, thanks to that oh-so-good price point, I can afford to pick up both!

My thoughts exactly!

The spikels are so great, especially Scorpi, he is the cutest mixel so far  I have to collect all of them.

I like Glorp Corp and Wiztastics. I'll probably get all of both tribes.

Loving the 'Wiztastic' tribe, but the green ones just look kinda generic and boring to me... :sceptic:

The Spikels are my fav. Scorpi. <3

Finally found Series 2 today. Picked up Slumbo, Jawg, and Kraw.

I got Volectro,Vulk, and Slumbo today. They're fantastic, but addictive. I'm sure I'll have a full set of nine from each series someday.

I wish the mini ball joint and tooth pieces came in other colors. Gray is fine for a lot of them, but to me it just stands out too much on the lighter-colored ones like the Frosticons and Glorp Corp.

Instructions of the Series 2 Maxes (and some new Mixes and Murps) are up on the Mixels microsite!

Only the Flexers Max. The Fang Gang is a corrupted file and Frosticons ain't showing the PDF.

On a side note I know which set I'll be building first, haha

That's very strange. I can download them all just fine. Maybe these links will work better?

Frosticons Max

Flexers Max

Fang Gang Max

If you still can't see them, then it might be the browser you're using. I'm using Google Chrome if that helps.

Your last link, TheOneVeyronian, doesn't work, it gives the address of a file on your computer, I think.

I bought Seismo, Volecto and Gobba last week, I just built a Mix with Volecto and Seismo (right now I can't take proper pictures, so you'll get a render instead) :

He slightly reminds me of Mike Wazowski, from Monsters Inc.

So it does, oops! I thought I'd fixed all the links earlier, but I've fixed the Fang Gang link in the original post now so it should take you to the relevant download page of the microsite. I'd mistook the computer file address for the direct download link originally (still getting used to a new browser!), in case you're wondering how on earth such a link got there in the first place.

Anyway, back on topic slightly: nice Mixel Leewan!

Out of curiosity, what software did you use to render that? I love how it looks—clean and bold, like an image from an instruction booklet.

Thank you, TheOneVeyronian. :classic:

LDD2POV-Ray and POV-Ray. In the Outlines tab I set the Level of detail to crease edges + silhouette, and in the Rendering tab, I set the Quality to quick colors, full ambient lights only (which is, the lowest quality available). And voilà ! Plus, with such settings, it takes a few seconds to achieve the render.

Hmm, very nice, and that render makes it look really professional.

Downloads are working for me now, now I just have to wait till their release down under, hopefully it shan't be that much longer

soo it seems that all the mix and murp of series 2 hasn't available on the microsite yet. seeing that they already widely available, i find this strange.

They are available, but they are listed at the bottom of the microsite: http://www.lego.com/...ng-instructions .
