Lordofdragonss Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I went shopping at the local (and people flooded) Lego Store and picked up all of the Infernites. Zorch is very bland and disappointing, Flain is a SNOT-fest and smaller than I thought (daawww), and Vulk is absolutely adorable! He's my favorite of the bunch. Vulk also includes a Nixel, so I'm very pleased... now to build the Infernite Max. Please do the review with MAX photo! Quote
just2good Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Pictures of the Mixels stuff at the NYTF here. Quote
Ceir Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Pictures of the Mixels stuff at the NYTF here. Thanks! I think of the upcoming waves, I'm looking to the purple/magic tribe the most. These guys are looking like fantastic little parts packs, and goldmines of multidirectional techniques - can't wait to find wave 1 locally. Quote
PenPlays Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) Please do the review with MAX photo! It is a little underwhelming at first, being that it still is pretty small, but it definitely looks nice ignoring that. I may need to buy another set of three just so I can display the MAX as well. Sorry no pics (busy day) but for only $15 you can build one too! Edited February 16, 2014 by Penkid11 Quote
DraikNova Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 What are the Ninjago snake things supposed to be on the green Mixels? They don't look like vines, so...what are they? Quote
Aanchir Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 What are the Ninjago snake things supposed to be on the green Mixels? They don't look like vines, so...what are they? I interpreted them as dripping ooze, myself. Quote
Kalhiki Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 I can't wait to get the orange Mixels. Mustache crab guy is all sorts of win. Quote
WARHEAD Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 What are the Ninjago snake things supposed to be on the green Mixels? They don't look like vines, so...what are they? Pretty sure they're snot on the tall one eyed one, seeing as they're coming out from under the nose thing, and drool on the short quadruped one, since it looks very much like a dog. Quote
Bfahome Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I like all the funny little techniques used to make these, like the way some of the eyes are made. Quote

TNT apples Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Anyone know about the UK release date? Quote
Aanchir Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Series 2 and Series 3 tribe information! Series 3 includes the Glorp Corp, Spikels, and Wiztastics. More pics here! Quote
DraikNova Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Glorb Corp. Glorb Corp & snot snakes. Just great. And it fits with the current show perfectly. Quote
VBBN Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Frosticons and Glorp Corps are the two standout tribes for me so far and possibly the Wiztastics. Really liking the ninjago/furno sword the frosticons have. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Fang gang are farmers? That's totally adorable!Still Cragsters are my favorite. Quote
PenPlays Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 It's good to point out that the tribe we originally were told to be called the Stretchers are actually called the Flexers. I'm loving this theme so much. I'm so glad they are so affordable. Quote

I'm loving this theme so much. I'm so glad they are so affordable. Affordable and Adorable, this entire theme is a win/win. But I must say for all these new pics we are seeing I am still after particular ones, the Max's for the six coming tribes, they are gonna be crazy Quote
Brandon Miller Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Local Walmart has these. Picked up 41504 for $5. Quote
TNT apples Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Picked up 41504 Seismo today, it's super cute and I love it's massive feet but I don't get why micro ball joints aren't used for the arms , it would've improved pose-ability... Quote

Cause if they did give them we'd end up with a series similiar to Bionicle (not that I'm dissing), but by having a mix between long legs, long arms and built up bodies. The last thing anyone would want is 3 near identical figures of the same colour. The whole point of this series is to be crazy and wacky Quote

greg3 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Anyone know about the UK release date? They were putting these out today in my local Toymaster (along with the Junior sets, the princess sets and the new Marvel sets) I bought one of each "tribe" and have to say I like them... Might get the rest!! Quote
vexorian Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 I hope these come to my local store. The binge purchase joy of the collectable minifigures, but even if you get a repeat, you get BRICKS. Including the new articulations. I think I might end up buying tons of these. Quote
