bacem Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Names would make them more interesting, but the Max Mixels are truly just the three (insert tribe name here) combined, not a separate entity, making it confusing if they had different names in Max form. i think it could still work. it works on transformers universe for devastator, bruticus, etc. so i think it could work here too. CM4Sci Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 I got Zorch as an Easter gift today, and I really like him! My brother got Krader (we already have him) so he wasn't too happy. -Sci Quote

Riftx Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 i think it could still work. it works on transformers universe for devastator, bruticus, etc. so i think it could work here too. Exactly. I'm fairly certain the max is a separate identity. Unlike normal mix's which you can tell who's the dominate being, a Max may take parts of the individuals there is no primary core base Quote
DraikNova Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I feel as though the Max's should have their own names. Electroids Max just doesn't seem 'cool' enough. How about Shocktaus, given his dino like form, Blazon and Bouldoune for the others? How does the name "Shocktaus" have anything to do with dinosaurs? Quote
TheBrickPal Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I received Vulk, Zorch, Krader, Shuff, Teslo and Zaptor in my Easter basket today. So, basically everyone in series one who I did not own before. I really love them! I'm so happy that I'm done collecting all of the sets in this amazing theme... until June, at least! Quote
Riftx Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 How does the name "Shocktaus" have anything to do with dinosaurs? Shrunk down version of Shocktsaurus, like Brontosaurus Quote
Agent Fusion Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Had a closer look t the Wiztastics. Does Magnifo have a cape? Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Yep, and he has that 2x2 with V-fins as his collar. I love the little details the put in the Mixels. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Me and some of my friend have done something with the Mixel Eyes. So I want you all know that there is a new Virus called The Derp Virus and three people have this Virus (I am one of them) Quote

TheBrickPal Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I'm loving the information of personalities and abilities! This theme is so much fun. Now that I have all of series one, I just cannot wait any longer for series two! I noticed a really weird pattern with the Mixels of series one. In each tribe, there is always a Mixel with one eye, a Mixel with long legs, and a Mixel with neither. Also, each set that includes a Nixel has some interesting feature that separates them from the others of their tribe. With Teslo, it's his tail. With Vulk, it's his hinged jaw and balljoint arms/hands. With Krader, it's his turntable head and giant arm/hand. I've not gotten the chance to test this theory with the other series yet. I just thought I'd share... Quote
CabooseBM Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) In series one I always saw it as "The Legs Guy" "The Handy Guy" and "The Other Guy". Edited April 28, 2014 by CabooseBM Quote
Agent Fusion Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 @8BrickMario Well that makes him a must buy. He WAS a must buy to begin with, but now even more so. Quote
Riftx Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 @8BrickMario Well that makes him a must buy. He WAS a must buy to begin with, but now even more so. They are all must buy, each just has their own unique selling point Quote
8BrickMario Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 There are some errors (Flexi, Flurr without one "r") but that's interesting to see. I thought Slumbo was the leader of his tribe, though. The poses shown here give us another perspective and for me, new views of some them. I saw some some parts I hadn't noticed before, like the use of slope bricks in Slumbo's feet due to the different angles, as well. Quote
Bigger Fish Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I got Zorch, Vulk, Teslo, and Krader yesterday and I got Zaptor today. I now have every series 1 Mixel! Krader's my favorite because you can make him give you a thumbs up. Vulk and Teslo are close behind because they're so cute!! My mom thinks that Vulk and Teslo look kind of like the minions from Despicable Me. Quote
Riftx Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Teslo I can see, if you ignore the tail. Vulk is a bit of a stretch though, prob just the colour though Quote
Tuinman Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I just finished building the cragsters and I really like these mixels. They're cute actually. And I am already thinking about mixing up and creating new ones. Guess I'll end up collecting all of them... Quote
Aanchir Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 LDD is updated. It now includes all the Mixels joints as well as the decorations for their eye pieces! Quote
Legodude31 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Flickr user ACPin has a photo of Series 2 Mixels info from the latest LEGO Club Magazine. In the picture what is up with Gobba's legs, it looks a TECHNIC Tube that would fit over an axel joint? Maybe he has a spinning waste like Krader? Quote

Looks like a Krader-style spinning waist built from this, this, this, and this. Nothing too complicated as far as I can tell. Quote
Bfahome Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Looks like a Krader-style spinning waist built from this, this, this, and this. Nothing too complicated as far as I can tell. That makes total sense now. I was wondering what odd-length plate they used, and I sort of forgot that one existed. Quote
