Riftx Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) They've finally updated this list http://www.lego.com/en-us/mixels/explore/mix-max-murp/mix-max-murp Jawg/Kraw has been listed 3 times, 1st is him, the next 2 are actually in place of Slumbo/Chomly and Slumbo/Balk. Once clicked it'll show the mix, but under the wrong name Edited June 27, 2014 by Riftx Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Out of series one and two, what are your top ten Mixels? Quote
Aanchir Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Anybody else wondering what the figure in this set will be? The LEGO Friends and LEGO City activity books like this one tend to include between 10 and 15 pieces, , so obviously I don't expect a full Mixel. Nor do I expect anything that uses exclusive decorations like the Nixel general, since these sorts of books all tend to use existing parts. But that still leaves a lot of options open. It could be a Nixel we've seen, or even one we haven't. Or it could be some type of "mini-Mixel". Quote
Agent Fusion Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 My first guess would be Major Nixel, but besides that, I've got nothing. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 If it is Major Nixel. I think this would be an appropriate Lego representation of him. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/Mixels/nixels.png (Ignore the colored Nixels) He has 18 pieces. Though He might not have the white 1x1 tile printed. Quote
Kalhiki Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) Man, I hope it's Major Nixel. I love that guy (if you can't tell by the quote in my sig). Edited June 28, 2014 by Kalhiki Quote
Ikkad555 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) [...] Then, they can build the included figurine to Mix, Max, and Murp! I doubt that it's gonna be a Nixel, given the description encouraging Mixing. Maybe it's because they're trying to keep the figure a secret, but I don't see why, and if it really was a Nixel they would have had the product description reflect that. Mini-Mixel seems more likely. EDIT: Amazon France has a listing for another activity book that states explicitly that it comes with two buildable figures, and a title that implies that these figures will be a Mixel and a Nixel. No picture though. Its price is slightly higher than the Amazon.fr price for the other activity book with figure, but looking at the prices for other activity books with minifigs (like Chima's), which are all over the place, I don't think the price indicates much at this point. SonofTheShire Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I haven't been able to find any of series two in the shops yet. I really want Flurr and Tentro. Maybe I'll have to order online... Does anyone know when the third series launches? Quote

Does anyone know when the third series launches? I think the date given at Toy Fair was September, so they'll probably start showing up in August. Quote
Taaron Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 (edited) I finally got myself a set of Mixels. :D I bought the Frosticons + an extra Slumbo to keep stock in case I decide to ...Max them? I think it's called. So far I've built Slumbo, and he's pretty nifty. I like 'em. Though, I'm kind of disappointed that lego is retiring 'em. It seems like most of the stores I go to has Series 2 now, so I'm gonna have to start searching high and low to get the Series 1 guys. (A friend found a series 1 set on eBay for like $80. :S ) Edited July 4, 2014 by Taaron Quote

I didn't expect them to phase them out, for some reason. I need to start collecting Series 1 Mixels while I can... Quote
Kalhiki Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I still see Series 1 out and about. TRU, predominantly. Though I imagine that won't be the case for long if they're starting to phase out elsewhere. Quote
Borex Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 I wanted to order a set from lego.com but i couldnt order mixels. Arent they available in the Netherlands? Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 They should be available everywhere, I didn't hear anything about the mixels not being available in the Netherlands. Quote
Leewan Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I checked, and most of the Series 2 Mixels are out of stock in France. Maybe you have the same issue in the Netherlands. Quote
TheOneVeyronian Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 All the Series 2 Mixels are also practically out of stock in S@H UK too, which leads me to believe that the European warehouse that supplies S@H products has pretty much run dry of Mixels. They sold out extremely quickly there, I'm quite surprised by that. Testament to how popular the Mixels are perhaps? Quote
Agent Fusion Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Maybe, or perhaps LEGO didn't anticipate them being this popular, so they only made a somewhat small number. Quote
Borex Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Ah thats too bad. I'll check for some other Lego retailers then. Quote
Takanuinuva Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Got some Series 2 Mixels yesterday. I picked up Slumbo, Gobba and Tentro. Gobba seems to be my current fave of the 3 I've bought. I've made some mixes with them and my Series 1 Mixels Flain/Slumbo Mix http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/Mixels/MIxes/flain_slumbo_mix.jpg Shuff/Gobba Mix http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/Mixels/MIxes/shuff_gobba_mix.jpg Zaptor/Tentro Mix http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/takanuinuva/Mixels/MIxes/zaptor_tentro_mix.jpg I think when I get 3 from Series 3 I only do one mix of all 9 of them. I don't want to wear down the bricks constantly taking them apart and mixing them. I'd rather do that in LDD. Quote
Aanchir Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 The brick contents of the Mixels activity book have been revealed. Just a pair of Nixels. I suppose this isn't too bad, as Nixels are supposed to have strength in numbers, so having duplicate Nixels is hardly a problem. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Yeah, I was somewhat disappointed too, especially how the figure is advertised to "Mix, max, murp". Quote
Ikkad555 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Well, getting more Nixels is always fun, but I don't like how they have two of the same Nixel rather than one of two different designs, especially since it looks like we're only ever gonna get the three variations that have been there since Series 1. I hope they have spare pieces. Quote
just2good Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) The fourth wave will be revealed at SDCC. http://www.cnbc.com/id/101856022 Edited July 22, 2014 by just2good Quote
Agent Fusion Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Speculation time! Place your bets, folks! What colours, what themes, what? *Ahem* Quote
