About the car, someone got theirs, drove out on the road, and TOTALED IT!

That's what happens when you don't know how to drive your new car.

It will turn out to be the new Porsche GT2. :)

Since I didn't buy the 42056 GT3 RS I actually wouldn't mind a new and improved 911. :)

I thought about that too, it is a likely idea.

I mean, look at it! Of all the cars currently in production I wouldn't want any other one than a Porsche 911. It's just so amazingly beautiful.

Just make the vents in the front fenders proper ones for the next version LEGO. :)

I wake up every morning and read car news, I was astonished when i saw it. it was my home screen for weeks. I also play Forza 7, the Porsche is the halo car.

I want wheel hubs that have as little slack as the small turntable hubs and fit 8880 cv joints. Also they must not have any already integrated balljoints.

personally i couldnt care less about the 911 as a car, im a big car fan, but the 911 just screams form over function to me, to the point where they stick with putting the damn engine in the wrong place for over 40 years for marketing purposes.

As for the rumored new super car, nothing would make me happier then a proper ferrari, and i mean proper, as in as big as the GT3 RS, but with its features properly working, and realistic. Ive got the old Enzo on display in my living room, and it kind of annoys me that it doesnt have proper suspension on a gearbox, which is easily doable in a car that size.

I thought we would have some news about the successor to Mindstorm EV3 last year, but we did not. Does something come out in 2018?

I hope we have news on the Mindstorm line and the PowerFunctions line.

There will be no new PF this year as far as we know now, 42082 will have 1 XL motor, we still don't know what motor will be in 42080, but probably an M or maybe even an L, although I doubt that last one.

There was nothing new about Mindstorms in the 2018 catalogue, just the good old same EV3.

Honestly, if Lego were doing new Mindstorms, they would have probably debuted it at CES in Las Vegas. I have not heard anything, so there probably isn't anything. EV3 is still fairly new, and Mindstorms overall still enjoys strong sales, so I don't see Lego changing it much.

The two things I've been waiting for are finally here this year: a garbage truck and a forklift. I dont know what I should wait for next anymore. Maybe a flagship backhoe. But nothing to wait for after that.

Given the rumored new pneumatic valve, a remake of the classic 8455 is not unthinkable.

And after that...you're done :sweet:

After that I can finally rest in peace... or pieces of Lego...

Resting in pieces of Lego would  hurt

What I would give for TLG to make a PF S motor or a flagship backhoe

I second that, a PF S motor is long overdue!

Thinking about it though, would we want a high-torque-low-speed or low-torque-high-speed PF S?

Or closing a grabber, or rotating a small turntable, or tilting an attachment. In general all the things from far away, at the tip of an appendage.

Exactly.
