KopMaister Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Hi. it's been a long time since last moc. on account of me moving. however i have been working on a articulated truck inspired by the Uniknick. like this one: Here it is: the model features (at the moment): - XL-motor for steering. - 2 x NXT motors for drive. Features i would like to implement: - front and rear hitch. - winch. i also mean to build a unimog u4000 or 402 cab for it. however i am not too good at building those sorts of things. i hope you can help me there. Here is the LDD file: http://www.brickshel...thout_motor.lxf Enjoy! Will upload more pictures to my brickshelf soon. http://www.brickshel...gi?m=KopMaister Quote
Hrafn Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 That's a great vehicle and it looks like a fun project. I don't think I've ever seen an XL used for steering before, even with articulated steering like this, but if you've got the room for it why not! As for the body, the U4000 looks more angular than the U402 and thus would probably be easier to make using panels and liftarms. Quote
KopMaister Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Yeah, i'm kind of leaning towards the u4000. Quote
Pat-Ard Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 (edited) WOW, I'm really impressed... I like the UniKnick... What about the Cab of my U406? I can try to make a LDD... http://www.eurobrick...c=92220&hl=u406 I don't think there are U4000 in the wild modified as a UniKnick. Pat Edited April 9, 2014 by Pat-Ard Quote
