Peasantseverywhere Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Am sitting in my car on the way to London Westfield and was wondering what superheroes set I should buy , I've got about £70 and I would convert it into dollars but since the lego group rip off the uk by charging the same amount in pounds as it is in dollars it doesn't really matter . Personally I think I'm leaning towards the steam roller set. Quote
Godtshep Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I would say Steamroller and either the £12 Penguin set and a custom minifig pack or PaB small cup or the Man-Bat set. Or you could just get the £20 or £12 set and get the Steamroller from John Lewis-they have it for £40! Quote
Covi Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I would say the Daily Bugle Showdown. It has lovely minifigs and a nice part selection and the set itself has great playing possibilities. It's an underrated set in my eyes. Quote
Suspsy Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Hulk Lab Smash. Wonderful set, great minifigs. Quote
montgocloud Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Hulk Lab Smash. Wonderful set, great minifigs. I wholeheartedly agree, and I'd like to recommend "Avengers: Captain America vs. Hydra." But it really all comes down to what your preferences are. Do you like Marvel or DC better? Who are your favorite heroes? (If you like DC better then I sure hope you love Batman... ) Quote
Leoric Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I think the arkham asylum is the best ! The scarecrow and the joker are looks really great ! Quote

Im a brickmaster. Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I would get which ever set you want! If your not in a big yank to get sets for parts or figs, pick out the set(s) you think are cool and want. Bottom line is, lego is supposed to be fun. Don't over think it unless you want to! Quote
Peasantseverywhere Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Thanks for the great response guys , just thought I'd let you know that when I'd got there my friend had picked me up the Malibu mansion on clearance for £20 and I ended up buyin the steam roller and penguin face off from the lego store. Just as a recommendation all 3 sets surprised me and turned out all incredible ! Quote
