OOC: Magic Dauntlet (left) should be Bleeding, Arthur isn't Hexed, and the Puppetstring should be gone. :wink: Also, am I right in understanding that Erdy and Grimwald get a 50% chance to dodge the Hexing even if they roll Special Damage?

As Arthur snaps back to reality, he takes a moment to get his bearings. He looks to Grimwald, surprised and grateful. "You saved me. ...Thank you."

Arthur's focus returns to the battle at hand. "Right, I want that claw gone, but since it's Counterstriking and we can't Blind it, I'll have to kill it myself. Master Grimwald, do you think you could Frail it for me? Go ahead and move on to the Magic Dauntlet on the left once you've got this one taken care of. Minoid, right now it's better if you don't do anything unless the Left Magic Dauntlet is under 50 HP but not weak enough that the poison will kill it (in which case, try to finish it off), or unless it manages to Hex Erdy, in which case attack the Puppetstring."

Arthur throws his Duplovian Swift Halberd at the Claw Dauntlet from the Back Row. If successful, he follows up with a whip of his tentacles (Zoot's Rebel); otherwise, he tries again.

If in either scenario Erdy is Hexed, his second attack will then go against the Puppetstring with Zoot's Rebel from the Back.

(For clarity, if the Left Dauntlet is under 50 HP AND Erdy gets Hexed, priority goes to attacking the Puppetstring.)

The battle reaches a swift conclusion. Grimwald uses the last drop of his ether to render a Dauntlet weak, following up with some fairly potent blows of his own. Arthur and Erdathcath sweep the rest - the mechanical appendages hit the floor one by one, and promplty begin to hiss and spew smoke. They soon explode, the destructive blast once again weakening the barricade... but not the party! The Claw Dauntlet recites one last mantra before it detonates, sending metallic shrapmel hurtling in every direction.

BEGINNING DEMOLITION..."

The Minoid stabs the heavy duty door as the party begins to distribute their winnings. He switches hands, an explosive gel slithering out of his other arm. In a mere 30 seconds, it explodes, destroying the door and opening the way forward. The Minoid looks into the passageway he created, and seems almost hesitant to share what he saw.

The party takes a peek inside, and looks down. An old, weathered staircase semed to go down forever, each step getting smaller and smaller than the last. At the end of the gargantuan staircase was a bridge, made of cobbled stone and vicious spikes. But it was niether the stores or the bridge that distrubed the heroes... it was what they led to.
