Klaus-Dieter Posted July 14, 2007 Author Posted July 14, 2007 Yep. And one box should sport the image of the toystore itself :DHow about a shoe-shop? Take a 1x2 plate, put a 1x1 round plate on it and there Quote
dillthepill Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 A clothing store, the minifig torsos would be shirts, they would have stuff like long sleeve, hoodies, polos, and legs with jeans and other pants. THat would be great for minifig parts. Quote
maiq the liar Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Maybe another train station for a destination, or a Commuter train (More like a metra then a bullet train), Maybe a subway set, The overall construction being similar to the spider man one, and having another subway car. Plus a remake of the BNSF train... Quote
DJ Force Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 (edited) I was thinking about a subway, too, but figured that most kids won Edited July 17, 2007 by DJ Force Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 I agree with you. TLC should release a new aerial cableway or a tram. In the style of http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/6399-1?showpic=6487 it would be a great set and a must fot each Lego City fan! By the way: As I saw the angler in the new (this year's) Harbor set, I had an idea: Anglers' And Aquanauts' Shop an anglers' and aquanauts' shop (first floor: shop with a regal and a desk with a cash, second floor: living room with sofa and a TV on a little table) including a helmet, two pivots, two air tanks, a diving suit, some decoys and a glass minifigs: shop owner and a citizen I think there are so many ideas for different shops; TLC only has to release some! Why don't htey make a small bakery with a shop, a baker with a oven, a seller, a costumer, some croissants, some french longbreads and some Belville cakes (now very Rare). It would not cost much more than 20-30 euro. And if there's something wrong with the oven, the firemen have finally something to do :-D Quote
freddy_LC Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 I like the idea of a bakery and shop because TLC city theme is often based on the service of a city sets and not the civil sets. freddy_LC friendly Quote

Pick someone's idea and go with it. It's a hard contest because it's not as simple as just building a vig but what do you think? Would you guys be interested in that? Not only seeing entries, but building entries? How long do you think you would need to complete an entry? >:-) Contest on, city fans? Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted July 25, 2007 Author Posted July 25, 2007 That are very nice ideas, Widdi! Great! I'd like some new beach sets and some sets similar to the old Paradisa sets, too. An amusement park would be nice - perhaps as a Legoland park in minifig size? Additional to your set ideas for an amusement park I'd like a little shop with souvenirs (If you have already mentioned one then sorry!) and a Miniland - like in the real Legoland parks. The train sets ideas are great, Widdi! I'd like the tram and the big city train station - because the new train station which was released by TLC this year looks from outside very nice - but inside it's only an empty big hall. I even would like 9 Volt trains much more than more new RC trains. It seems as if you are bubbling over with ideas, but that's how it should be! Quote
