I have plenty of ideas:

Fire: Yes, I know we have a lot of kits, but there are two ideas I still have for the theme, two that would fill in the gaps.

Fire Helecopter (14.99 to 19.99 USD): This would be larger than the cruddy one we got back in 2005, with room for two people and some realistic water guns on the sides. There could also be a small shack or some trees burning down below, as well as a townsperson.

Fire Speeder (9.99 USD): Just a small one or two seater boat. It'd have water guns on the front and some tool storage areas with tools at the back.

Police: Well, now that a police survelience truck and helecopter is confirmed, my wants for Police are also taken care of! ;-)

Airport: I have one idea for this theme, one that would only take a bit of modifiying on the large airplane we have.

Cargo Plane (49.99 to 59.99 USD): In this kit, they would take the regular passanger jet we have, change the blue to green, change the tail to a two fin design, and put on a new straight wing piece and maybe a new cockpit design. Also, there'd be some containers with oil barrels, mail, food, tools, and/or some other things. A fork lift and some workers would also be a must!

Octan: Since we now have a new gas station, it's time for TLC to make more kits for that subtheme. I have two wants:

Tow Truck (7.99 to 9.99 USD): Made on a standard 6 wide base with a white, red and green color scheme, this would include a large towing mechanism and a driver. If they wanted to boost the price up, they'd also add a small car to tow with a citizen.

Fuel Tanker (9.99 to 11.99 USD): This would be a perfect way to finally make new 6 wide cylinder halfs. The truck would be a regular 6 wheel design, and a small 4 wheel base would be at the end of the fuel tank.

I could see lego making some indurstrial buildings for trains to serve.

grain elevator-a tall, deatailed building with a set of covered hoppers,a truck,a trackmobile for switching ( look it up on brickshelf,its pretty cool),three workers and a farmer to drive the truck.

mine-a tipple with a working convayer to load the open hoppers,possibly i.r. controlled.

power plant-a building with a tall smoke stack and a roatary dump to unload the hoppers.

Great ideas! For police, i would have liked to see a full mobile comand rig insteadof the survailance truck, but at i'll hold off judgment till i see it.

I really like your ideas afor Octane. The tow truck is a great idea. I alos like the Octane tanker. But i think that an 8 wide would be better suited for a tanker. This would be really sweet!...

a super B style tanker would be awsome, but expensive. but either way it would be nice.

and a marching band with brick built snares,basses,and tenors for the drumline and possibly a 'pit' or 'frontline ensamble' with brick built key boards and auxillary perrcussion. 8-

I think a tugboat is needed. With a ship as big as the new one, it is too hard to bring in without help. For example...

I was bringing in my ship the other day and I lost control for unknown reasons, causing a major fire.

No, I was not distracted by a bit of... er... that cat. It must of been a freak wave or wind gust. I don't know what. But it wasn't my fault. At least the clams weren't damaged.

I went to Miami last year for my 30th B-day and we took a tour of the harbors and I took so many pictures of the cranes and the tugs and I found it so fascinating. The captain was trying to show us celebrity's houses and I was like "go back to the container cranes!!! :'-( "

Can't wait to see your tug! I have a friend named Tug. He was a fat baby and his parents called him the TugBoat and the name stuck... :-D

I love cranes. Making a container crane (to replace the one that came with the harbour) is high on my priority list; perhaps I can do both and make it a "Harbour Extension Set"!

The china restaurant has run out of meat, and the customers are waiting!!

Join the employees in the backallys to hunt the kitties! Mmm, good food.

Comes with two Chinese food employees, an old car, a net, two kittens and a garbage can.

This is my last round of City Ideas for now. Because I'm slowly running out of them.

1. Farm Subtheme

This theme would be based off various DUPLO farm sets from the last years, but transferred to normal LEGO bricks.

Old Tractor

The small set of the series. It's just a smaller vintage tractor with a driver minifig and a small trailer.

Price: 10€

Farm Animals

Some sort of battle pack with built and prefabbed farm animals including, 3 chickens (with a cock), 2 cows, 3 sheep, a minifig horse with foal, a dog and a Farmer minifig. Price: 10€

Unimog

A 6-wide two-seater truck (+doors) that should look like an older mercedes Unimog including haystacks as cargo and a driver. Price: 15€

Harvester

Medium set with a complete minifig scale harvester and a trailer to attach the plow, when not using it for harvesting. Includes a minifig. Price: 25€

Agricultural equipment

A larger set with two tractors, one should look like an old Mercedes tractor, the other like a modern John deere and three different trailers with cargo. A large bulk trailer, a sullage barrel trailer and a medium sized trailer Includes two driver minifigs. Price: 50€

Farm

Largest set of the lot. Including a barn (1st: stable with various animals, 2nd: conveyor belt (chainlinks!) and haystacks , a farm house (1st: porch, kitchen, living room. 2nd bathroom and sleeping rooms), a tractor with trailer, a pickup (4w+doors) and 4 minifigs (Farmer, wife, maid and child) Price: 100€

2. City centre

Altough the name is taken from an late 90s Town junior subtheme. This sets are related to shops, offices etc.

Bakery

Just a two floor building with interior (1st: shop,bakery, 2nd Cafe) on a 32x16 with some places outside. including breads and croissant pieces as well as a huge cake and 5 minifigs (baker, saleswoman, 2 guests and a servant. Price: 25€

Diner

A one floor building of an american-style diner on a 16x24 with interior (snack bar, seats) and 3 minifigs (owner, guests). Price: 15€

Italian Restaurant

A cramped building in italian style with interior (1st: small kitchen, guest place, 2nd Restaurant and winerack), beergarden, a piaggio-like three-wheeler (4w+doors), motorcycle and bicycles including 5 minifigs (chef, servant, 3 guests) Price: 30€

Supermarket

A one floor building on a 32x32 with parking lot, interior (shelves, cashpoint), two different cars (4w+doors), delivery van (+doors) and 5 minifigs (cashier, 2 customers and 2 workers) Price: 40€

Post office

Simple one floor building with interior (counters) and a postal van including three minifigs (2 postmen and a customer). Price: 15€

Electronics store

One-floor building with interior (record player, comp shelves and cashpoint.), a car (4w+doors) and two minifigs (owner, customer)

Price: 15€

Hardware store

One-floor Building on a 16x16 with fitting interior (tool racks, cashpoint) and one minifig (owner)

Price: 10€

Motorbike shop

One floor structure with interior (cashpoint, store display), repair shop with roller doors, two motorcycles, delivery van (+doors) and a car (4w+doors) Including 5 minifigs (worker, delivery worker, owner, customers) Price: 30€

Street scene

Big Set with road plate, two buildings at two floors each with interiors (Left: 1st: barber shop woth complete interior, 2nd: Offices ; Right: 1st: farmacy with shelves, etc, 2nd medical practice with waiting area and surgery area), pickup truck, limo and a simple car (4w+doors) and 8 minifigs (barber, chemist, doctor, patient, customers, 2 pedestrians (one with baby carriage) Price: 70€

Shopping mall

Big set with various small shops (two for clothing, bakery shop, hardware store and a electronic store), snack bar and a parking lot with 4 cars (4w+doors) . Modular building technique and 12 minifigs (5 owners, chef, 6 customers). price: 120€

3. Industrial Subtheme

This features mostly anything related to industrial districts etc.

Forklift

Just a simple forklift truck (+doors) with cargo and driver. Price: 7€

Delivery van

One of the two small sets in this theme. Just a van (+doors) with driver

Price: 10€

Semi truck

This is a american style truck (max. 6w+doors) with two trailers, cargo and a driver. Price: 25€

Warehouse

A at least 15-brick high one-floor structure on a 32x16 with high ceiling, cargo, forklift, office and 4 minifigs (driver, two workers and boss). Price: 40€

Bakery

Big set related to a modern bakery (BTW:like my current workplace); 3-floor structure with interior (1st: garage (Roller Door!), dispatch and bakery (with fitting machines); 2nd: confectionery/(fitting machines), 3rd: lounge and office), delivery van (+doors) and 8 minifigs (2 office workers, driver, dispatcher, 2 bakers and 2 confectioners) Price: 100€

Brewery

Bigger set with interior in a 2-floor structure (1st high ceiling: brewhouse equipment, 2nd office and lab), external garage (roller doors), beer barrels on cargo, semi truck (max. 6w+doors). forklift (+doors) and 6 minifigs (boss, secretary, driver, 3 workers) price: 80€

Powerplant

Closed structure on 2 32x16 baseplates connected by hinges with interior. Including generators and a office. With 4 minifigs (3 workers, boss) Price: 60€

Factory

Huge set with office building (interior: 1st lounge, 2nd offices), Factory Building with high ceiling and interior (machines, guard-room lurking above, and storage area besides), semi-Truck (max. 6w+doors) and a small forklift. also comes with three interchangeable machines (Paper machine, conveyor belt, furnace) Including 10 minifigs ( boss, three office clerks, 5 workers, 1 guard). Price: 160€

Some shops, offices, restaurants and something similar to the old Main Street would be absolutely necessary!

Some industrial buildings, depots and factorys would be nice, too.

The idea of a farm theme sounds very promising! Why should a farm theme only take place in the duplo theme and not even in the Lego City theme?!

Why don't you add a new topic with the name "Ideas for farm sets (no duplo)"?!

The new planes and boats shown that TLC is happy with larger moulded pieces which would obviously be needed for the Hull.

A cool looking floating toy with sails and motor option would sell pretty well imho. The also have the option to RC it as well?

I would like a big sailing-ship, too. RC wouldn't be necessary because I would never let one of my Lego sets into water, but otherwise...

Some more ships and buildings to enlarge the nice new Lego City harbor would be great - some ideas relating to this were being posted by me and others some time ago in this topic.

I would even like a big rescue ship (I don't know the real name in English) and a base for it. I will define this idea later.

Some yachts would be - as you already mentioned - very nice. But I would like some yachts with a nice interior with "inside life" - meaning some rooms with soime decoration.

And with manouvering like that there's something else that's needed, a Shipyard, with a drydock big enough for the new cargo ship. Ideally this would also include an almost finished ship, but I guess that would make the set too expensive.

including a yawl, a surfboard, some life belts, some suitcases for first aid, aradio set and two cups

minifigs: captain, doctor, two rescuers and a surfer
