Cara, here's an updated Avalonian map: Link

Well that changes things! I was not expecting it to be one of the mystic isles. How did the Drow get there? I thought they used tunnel networks and caverns in the mainland.

Those Drow get everywhere! I suppose they could've dug under the water? Sneaky.

DG, I'm not in the email, discussion thread. Is it for Avalonians only?

You should be in it (at least your name is displayed under all participants in the chat).

Sign me up for Simon_S team. I honestly doubt I'll find any time to build anything though.

Ah, figured it out. I haven't responded to the chat so it doesn't show up as a new email whenever someone contributes to the conversation. Thanks Simon!

It is not known if the Drow accessed the isles through subterranean caverns or overland, but the Drow tunnels are known to extend far deeper than the shallow seas between the Mystic Isles.

I can't help wondering how they keep those tunnels free from water?`The Drow undoubtedly have some dark magic that can keep the water out of their tunnels as it would be a problem also deep underground under the mainland below the groundwater level.

(A bad habit from a physicist/engineer to start thinking about such things....fortunately the fantasy setting allows for "easy" explanations sometimes )

Tunnels could be bored into rock I would imagine (a rather difficult feat to be sure), and there is an underwater mine (it starts off above water of course) IRL, though it doesn't extend too far.

Is it too late to get in on this great challenge? If there's still an option left, I'd like to go with DG's side.

I'd like to join the plague prevention side if it's still possible. Thanks.

Could someone please sign me up for de Gothia's plague prevention force, please? Thank you!

Physicist here too Gideon, does your family also love watching movies as much with you as mine do with me sometimes?

Hej all,

Nar'Bilu and his elven army has entered the first two categories, together with a long prologue story.

the complete story

I'm very curious what you think of it.

I would like to join DeGothia and investigate the plague

Just a quick question, does your sigfig have to be included in the MOC? It is not obligated right? For cat. A I am planning some scout/spy action, and my sigfig isn't a scout. He has a nice man for that.

Your Sigfig does not need to be in any of your builds, its all up to you to decide what characters to use. :classic:

I would want to join "Simon/Drow Assault" if it's not to late.

Mike S, Mass Editor, Ridge Montate, Thomas of Tortuga, Lego Panda and Odidoma have been assigned teams and have been added to their respective challenge threads.

Please let me know if anyone else is not part of their respective thread.
