BlueSpaceman Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I have noticed that alot of Train forum members have in their signature, train sprites of certain LEGO sets. And I was wondering where can I get some? Thanks Quote
Murdoch17 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Here you go: http://www.fa-meier.de/lego/traindepot/depot They just updated it with a new one on March 24th. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Coolness! But how do we put them in our signatures, and how do we modify them (to add duplicates of a car, for example, if we have multiples of a set)? Quote
Thorg23 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) I used MS Paint to combine them into a composite image. If you zoom in on a train image you can see the pixels and it's pretty easy to separate engines and cars as needed. As far as I know you have to host the actual images somewhere else, so I put my finished image on my flickr page, and in my sig I linked directly to the picture file using the image tool. It's kind of a pain to find the link you need now in flickr; stupid Yahoo keeps changing things and every time they do things seem to get worse. If you have a more convenient place to post your images to and link from (such as Brickshelf or some other moc site), I would try that instead. edit: there is a good tutorial on how to link images from brickshelf to eurobricks here: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=18451 Edited May 6, 2014 by Thorg23 Quote
AlmightyArjen Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Some users have also 3D-alike sigs with the trains, where did they get those from?? Quote
Jorrith Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I think those might be LDD screenshots... Either way, that's a way to do it. I am thinking of getting rid of my sig... Every time i buy a train, i am forced to update my sig image... (currently need to add 7938 and 4561, allthough the latter was bought for parts and is incomplete) Quote
grymg Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 I cut and paste the images into word, then you can place them wherever you want, copy/paste, mirror, etc. Then when you are done, take a screenshot and then upload the picture to your user CP. Quote
elicend Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 thanks for this link that i'de already asked for and lost ;) Quote
supernaut Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 You can also place them individually in your sig. I'm not sure if that will eventually lead to issues. Quote
Jorrith Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 You can only have 4 images in your signature, so that won't work. I've added the URL of the place where to get these images to my sig, maybe others could do the same for easy finding. Quote
Retroshift Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Are there any train signatures from train sets after 2007?? Quote
dr_spock Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Are there any train signatures from train sets after 2007?? You can look under the Powerfunctions for this page: http://www.fa-meier.de/lego/traindepot/html/power-functions.html Quote
Trainmaster247 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Thanks I was looking for these myself Quote
ummester Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 can you make your own somehow, from LDD models, for moc trains? Quote
zephyr1934 Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 can you make your own somehow, from LDD models, for moc trains? One quick and dirty way to do so is to zoom way out and take a screen shot or load a higher resolution screen shot into a photo editor to drop the resolution. Quote
