Whilst other alliance troops kept the Imperials busy, my squad, accompanied by Capt LegoFjotten’s men, made our way through the maintenance tunnels, climbing down into the bowels of the prison. Once we arrived at the right spot, our demolitions expert blew a lovely big hole in the wall :) Then all hell broke loose…

The Imps REALLY didn’t want the prisoners to escape

There were losses on both sides

But the LegoFjotten and his men fought bravely and kept the Imps at bay.

So my troops and I from Alliance Support could free the prisoners

And escort them back through the hole, through the maintenance tunnels to the waiting evacuation ship.

Awesome shots! your entry reminds me too much of the death star scene, however that doesnt mean that your entry isn't still amazing.

That's the idea! Imperial architecture often gets repeated in the films, and seeing as the only detention block we've seen is on the Death Star, I assumed they would be similar.

Great build Kaitan! those rocks in the middle are a really nice touch! It looks really much like a SW prison.

Superb build! This is definitely one of my favorite builds from this challenge. I love the similarities to the death Star cell block and you've recreated it beautifully. The angled walls of the corridors, the cell doors, the escape up through the ceiling on the support and the white contrast to the dark corridor - all excellent. The lighting on the down the corridor shot really turned out beautifully with the grates above. Excellent work!

Great work! I like your use of different camera angles to help tell the story. Your details are spot-on as well; from the blast debris in the corridor to the security cameras by the duty station, this looks like a very well thought-out build.

This is a well executed cell block. Particularly the floor with the red plates underneath, the cells each have monitoring controls, and console looks great. Placement of everything makes sense too. I also really like the variety of minifigs in the scene.

Nice build! I like the way the brown rock kindof juts through the walls, and I like the busted wall in the back that they're escaping through.

But what face is that on the kneeling Rebel in the front...? It looks really useful and quite familiar, but I can't seem to place it...

That's General Zod from Man of Steel :) ( also known as Leiutenant Dromas in my previous SONE builds)

His head is quite moody looking, but the other side has laser beam eyes, not very useful unless he turns sith! :)

Amazing build with lots of actions !

I really like the mixture of rocks and base, and the details around Death Star detention area.

Great job !! For the Rebellion !!

Wonderful build Kaitan! The inspiration from the cell block in SW IV is easy to see, and with a top notch execution. Figure selection and posing is great, and the shots too!:wub:

So that was what that loud bang was all about... it was the beginning of a terrific build!

Because that hole in the wall looks particulary nice, and I love the little debries you scattered around the scene. That makes it feel very realistic, and the exposed beams and greebles look great. The shaft is a little bit too light in my opinion, a narrow, dark tube Ould be more appropriate for my taste.

The shaft and the explosion illustrate a point that I really like in this build: it's the difference between order and chaos, between nature and architecture. Those exposed rocks are another example. They look very nice, and help to break up your scene a bit more, which is welcome in that area. The transition between the rock and the wall isn't at it's best though. It's a bit too straight. Adding more angles parallel to the wall would help here. It would also break up the very straight lines and big surfces of that section.

The corridor itself is the star of the day. The shape is perfect, and that smoothness is exceptional. You mastered all the angles perfectly. The grills on the floor and the roster on the ceiling complement very nicely. The way the doors are angled is great too. It's good that you added all those identical control panels (as far as I can tell, you even turned all the printed tiles the same way around...), but hey're a bit too brute for me. Replacing those round plates with a round tile and some kind of minifig accesory would give some more refinement here. But that is only a small issue in such a fine build.

Finally, I like the sense of thight action too. It really gives the feel of the shootout in the DS detention block. My only remark here would be that the Rebels are really without any cover... some pillars or crates to hide behind would make a small but logical addition. Of there are even valuable things to add to such a nice build...
