Posted April 18, 201410 yr That was my entry to the LDD Contest. Because of all the positive feedback (thank you!) I want to start a discussion thread to it. Maybe you have some ideas how to improve my building even more? Here is the idea behind: A postpostmodern glass architecture building, my ultimate dream house! Please note the open architecture which allows views from the inside to the outside and from the outside to the inside at any time. Doors in all directions guarantee freedom and access to the nature: One big problem of contemporary buildings is the limited number of doors: Often they come only with front door and back door. This is not enough in postpostmodern times! The open roof enhances the liberating feeling of nature, especially when it comes to thunderstorms and heavy rainfalls, and the color scheme underlines open-mindedness and breaking with traditions. The interior is deliberately modest, since everyday amenities like kitchens, beds and foods only limit the freedom you can enjoy in your dream building. Last but not least, it is also worth to appreciate the limited space which is not only a sophisticated critique of the thriftlessness of contemporary society, but also broadens the minds of my dream house's residents. I hope you enjoy my building: If you want to build your own postpostmodern dreamhouse, you can vote for it on Cuusoo: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/60940 Or you can download the LDD-File: http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/510858/dreamhouse2-lxf.html Thanks! April 19, 201410 yr It's bootyful. Captures that excellent post-modern look, with the exquisite array of colors, that are neither too bright nor too dull. Gets my vote.
April 19, 201410 yr I'm sorry, but I don't get it. As it appears to me, you threw together 8 pieces as a joke. I never have been one to "get" art, but I can't think of how this can compare to other creations, such as Chris Was Here's "Langenburg Mansion" or Kolonialbeamter's "Chateau 'Sans-Nuage-sur-Maine'". There is no way this can be in minifigure scale, let alone qualify as a house. But if you can explain it to me as best you can, I'm open to it. I'm all ears. I just don't get it.

I think sabertooth may just be taking the piss a little bit :) However, the text that accompanies the images is so over the top I find it quite funny. Also, I was totally inspired by their Micro entry: So much so, I went back in time and modelled both my own entries on it! Thanks for the time-travelling-inspiration, sabertooth!
