Posted April 18, 201410 yr Despite the chaos in the halls elsewhere in the base, the Imps had stacked up their defenses in the corridors leading up to the Command Post. We had wanted to be noticed though, once we had secured the prison block. With the technical data from the outpost, we were able to use the ventilation shafts to access the upper level of corridors, and were able to hack their way into the Weaponry above the Command Post. With all the blasterfire outside, the imps hadn't noticed us enter, and we were able to take up positions, line up our shots, and take down the two stormies without them firing a shot. Fjotten and I clambered down, and I wrangled the greycollars into a corner and frisked them. The officer didn't know when to close his lock, so I smacked him upside his head - that shut him up. Fjotten took a look at the commander's datapad and pulled up the security code for the day, which would give us the ability to control the comms within the outpost. We would have to take the Comm center to stop all the Chatter to ImpFleet though, and that would be our next objective. Now that the Command Center was ours, we had gained a significant tactical advantage against the Imps.
April 18, 201410 yr Wow! great build rogueang! when I clicked this one I had no idea it was this good! I like how it looks very clean! and many of the details are awesome!
April 18, 201410 yr When I look at this build I get a sense of "feng shui." Everything is so balanced and harmonious that it just feels good and right! I love it! Those lights at the top are especially neat as are the consoles at the bottom of the room!
April 18, 201410 yr Author To be honest, this was technically a 2 night build because I spent 2 hours on it Wednesday night. At 3:30 this morning (my time) I was thinking of Wednesday night as "last night". I don't usually build so symmetrically, but when I look at Imp facilities (Death Star, Star Destroyer Bridge) they appear to be very symmetrical and repetitive.
April 19, 201410 yr This is great! I really like the multi-tiered effect, and your technique on the walkway and railings is very well done.
April 22, 201410 yr Great entry. That weapon storage is exactly as I pictured it! I really like what you did with that sotrage walkway. The guns, the crates... everything very easily accesible, very practical. Still, you found the place to squeeze in some nice details like those 1x1 round tiles and those holders for the bigger rifles. Those lights (or is it an air conditioning installation?) do look good, and I love the way they're angled, but maybe there a bit too densily packed. I have the feeling less might still be enough there. On the other hand, my compliments for the railings and the beams that support that walkway. Excellently executed! That brings us to the bottom part. Those screens are nice, but I don't see the point of them all giving exacly the same information. Some variety would have been nice. Some differently decorated tiles, or maybe something entirely different could have been there. Anyway, it is great that you added yet another level there, going further down. It brings the Imperial feel forward, and gives a little unexpected twist to your MOC, setting it apart. The consoles there are even better, and man those chairs look comfy. The grilled floor finishes it off nicely. So all in all, very neat, besides the crappy and unbelievable story. By biggest remark would be that there are too much blank surfaces. Especially the doors lack some detail. Some simple profile bricks would do. It wouldn't ruin the clean look that makes your model a delight to look at, yet it would enhance it more. Still, very impressive, especially when I see the tight timeframe involved!
April 23, 201410 yr Great build - I'm a sucker for multi-level designs I love the top level gantry , the railing in particular - very clever! I agree that the doors look a bit plain in comparison to the rest, but you've given us so many other great things to look at, the doors are a minor thing. K
April 24, 201410 yr H'm ... LegoFjotten is starring in an impressive number of builds here, and all more or less at the same time ... Have you Rebels been cloning again? Edited April 24, 201410 yr by VK-318
April 24, 201410 yr Author I'm sorry but none of our LegoFjottens are currently available for comment.

I'm sorry but none of our LegoFjottens are currently available for comment. Besides, how many of the same stormtroopers do we see getting shot again and again?
April 26, 201410 yr Excellent build rougeang, love it! There is so much to like here, multiple levels, the railings, the lights on the upper levels, weapon racks, computers... all good stuff! The only thing that I might consider changing are the doors which look a bit plain.
