Righty Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) Hello Everyone! Let me introduce you my latest creation to be added to the old-timer vehicle set: The Van. This van was designed and built to carry live animals, such as goats, dogs or a bull. The ramp on the back can be used to load the van. https://flic.kr/s/aHsjUeCCyC As always, your comments are welcome!:) If you are interested in more: a link to my previous MOC oltimer post: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=93337&hl= http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91343&hl= Edited April 22, 2014 by Righty Quote
SRT907 Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Loved the green van! Not over-complicated, but also not missing any detail. Scaling and color scheme is very good. Keep up the good work! Quote
ManInATopHat Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Amazing builds! You've really captured the style of automobiles from a bygone era. Great work! Quote
B Rick Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 All of em are beauties, but I love the pick em up truck... The brown works well with the green. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Excellent jib Righty! Nice use of the round tile for the grill Quote
Galaxy Explorer Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Wow! Those look really nice! I especially like the car- it reminds me of a Hot Wheels car I had in the very early eighties. The pick-up truck looks great as well- are those vintage tires? My only suggestion is maybe a sticker for the side of the blue delivery van, it looks a little plain, but well designed. I really need to start MOCing some 6-wide vehicles. The only cars and trucks I build are Classic Town-style. Great job, Righty! Quote
ScotNick Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I love the designs! I really wish TLC would produce a series of 'Old City' sets, sets that would contain such kind of cars! Quote
lightningtiger Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I that flat bed truck with the green cab......you have given me an idea 'Righty'........Brick On Truck On ! Quote
Wodanis Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Not a fan of old cars but I really liked your farmer's truck. Has an excellent feel to what one would see from the 1920's. Great work! Quote
Dharkan Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 From which set do you get that particular tires? Quote
Righty Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 From which set do you get that particular tires? I have also learned that from ER0L. It is an old part you can find it at: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=132-old Quote
golfman Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Both are quite nice, but the green truck is just something... Quote
Fishee Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Nice job! The "official" name for the green truck is "stake bed truck". Quote
