Mr Hobbles Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Dammit, I would have rather had the live action tv show than the two movies. He could have at least made them "proper" length rather than one hour then! Quote
Scouty Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 I definitly GL should move on something else. He has. He Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 The lesse Lucas has control, the better it will be: sad but true !! Take ROTS for instance, the deleted scenes were fantastic and he never should leave those out: * Shak-Ti murder by GG * the whole sub plot of Padme joining the resistence to counter Palpatine increase of power (with young Mon Mothma) * *yoda* 's arrival on Dagobah + look at the Clone Wars, the writers and illustrators had way more liberty to create that whole war era that Lucas didn't want in his movies !! *yoda* Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 So its basiccaly a remake? This poster is weird. I'm sticking with the cartoon version. The only character who looks decent is Yoda!!!! Comedy? Lol. Obi-Wan fighting in a war. Where the hell is my Pizza Commander cody comes: Here it is sir. Obi Wan: Thank you very much. hey... it has anchovies! DIE CODY! -ZotS Quote
zero1312 Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 I reserve my opinion to this after I've seen the finished produkt! |-/ Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Lil' update, it's confirmed that there will be NO MORE Star Wars movies, not even for TV. Never ever. The projects they have in development are the animated CG series (Which is well in development and will probably come out next year) and the live action TV series (Due for 2009-2010). JoeMI6 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Anyone seen the trailer for this series? Here's the link if you haven't seen it. Looks great in my opinion, but I still dunno whether it'll best the original animated series. Quote

I wanted to have the same anim Quote
Vader Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 Well im not to fussed about the cgi as long as the show itself is good, im happy were getting more from the clone wars era. I wonder how dark the show will be, also i do hope once this series is over that we get one set during the dark times. Quote
zero1312 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 (edited) Nice trailer, I *wub* this music theme! Is that Asaji Ventress who chokes the clone trooper? Edited May 29, 2007 by zero1312 Quote
Vader Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 Nice trailer, I *wub* this music theme! Is that Asaji Ventress who chokes the clone trooper? Yep sure is Ventress, anyone else think that when she enters with all those droids that its the entrance to jabbas palace? Quote
JoeMI6 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Could well be... I see what you're saying Yoda, but how can a full CGI series not look CG? I think the more of a departure from the original series it is the better, as I don't want it to just be a CG rehash. Quote
mutley777 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 *wub* Now that trailer has just made my year! stunning! :'-) Quote
JoeMI6 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 *wub* Now that trailer has just made my year! stunning! :'-) Good to hear Mutley! I too cannot wait for the series. Quote
Corvus Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Well, now that we have pics of the sets, I think it's about time to revive this thread. ;-) If not, don't hurt me! I meant well! :-$ I think this trailer looks awesome. The characters like Anakin, Padme, and Yoda don't look so good in CGI, but the clones look marvelous. *wub* Can't wait for it to come out. I can understand why those scenes were cut out because of a couple of reasons: 1) They aren't the most relevant scenes to what the focus is, Anakin turning into Vader. 2) Another reason is that the movie was already running so long (140 minutes, the second most out of both trilogys; Episode II has 142) I can sympathise why the scenes were cut out, but it would be cool to have those included sometime in the future! I am most likely very biased, however. Quote

Shak Ti needs to survive for The Force Unleashed The others don't seem like scenes that the movie couldn't do without. Could you give some evidence that that could be true? Because it seems as a very odd reason to delete a scene. Quote
Zarkan Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Er, the image isn't working for me for some reason... is there another place where I can see it? :-/ Quote
Vader Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Reasons those scemes were deleted:1. Shak Ti needs to survive for The Force Unleashed The others don't seem like scenes that the movie couldn't do without. Well it is true that Shaak Ti is going to be in the upcoming Force Unleashed Game, however that has not been established as the reason why lucas cut the scene from the film. Lucas has stated several other reasons as to why it was cut, so it seems highly unlikely. Quote
