(To my kids) Sorry, I don't have that 15L beam you are looking for, in fact, I don't have any Technic parts in the basement; and I certainly do not have 8 brand new Unimog wheels

I have more lego than I'll ever need ...

Currently, when I buy a new set, I leave all the black and double blue connector pins sealed in their bags. For those parts I use the ones out of my collection. For many other parts, the quoted line is so true. Even if you think you certainly have enough of a certain part (liftarms, for example), one thinks of a new MOC and you just need that two extra beams in that specific lenght and/or angle. In the correct colour, none the less.

Hehe, all the other ones are cool too. My brains are enjoying a little party of recognition.

"These new gears seems so strong, let's test some torque... ups"

"Oh, I only need 8 connectors on THIS color, They could not be expensive in BL..."

"I only spend a couple of hours sorting these 3 boxes of spare parts"

"I know exactly how many black pins with friction I have"

"I don't miss Technic Figs in Sets"

"Hey... Black is a primary Color" (In TECHNIC ^^ )

I have never ordered a £100+ set just because I want the wheels

AHAHAHAHAH hi there brother XD

- the gearboxes i've built work amazingly well without making me swear all the time for some reason

- i never forced pieces to avoid dismounting a part of the model when i need to change something...

"At some stage I'll have to route this motion to that mechanism, but I can do that later, it'll be easy"

Lego never causes friction between my wife and I with how much space my collection takes up.

I've never declared legos on personal financial statements as "significant assets"

I never get tired of putting my dad right.

Plastic is great for mechanical parts.

I really love how the power functions cables cant be replaced.

I never modify pieces to get new pieces when I need it while MOCing.

I always have too many 3L blue pins.

"I have built PF Trial truck, tested it in rough terrain, and I haven't broken any U-joint."

i've never used teeth to disassemble

I've really done neither of these. I've built a couple of trial trucks, and have not broken a single U joint. And I've honestly never used my teeth to disassemble anything.

"i'll never make the model in the manual - i will use this set for parts only"

8070 went right in my parts bin.

To the wife: "Honey, this 2000+ pieces Technic set was really cheap!"

"I won't buy any sets or parts this month"

I Never wished for longer pneumatic rams/cylinders and a more precise control for pneumatic elements.

It's really easy to address a linear actuator with a long and "curved" drivetrain.

"I will only purchase that parts I need for my new moc"

"I can fit this mechanics in that challenging size in first attempt"

"Darling, I dont have enough Tires and Rims on that Huge Box"

"Black is a really fitting color"

"I don't miss the grip/clutch of old pins with friction"

"That pneumatic airtank really worth that price in Bricklink"

but the best is...

"Nah, the Flagship set of this year is not cool, I won't buy it"

Excactly, this flagship (loader) is not for me since I already have all those parts and PF-stuff and I'll get the bucket from BrickLink.
