Hmm. People actually lie to their wives and families about buying Legos?

i lie to the shop assistant saying "it's for a present...could you wrap it please?"

"The GBC modules are very easy to design, and the balls physics and movement are very predictable"

Yes!! Also "It works flawlessly for 30 minutes straight at home, so it should be fine all weekend on display".

"I've never removed skin after a lengthy deconstructing session, that brick separator is always on hand"

My friends and family don't think I am a weirdo when I show them my Lego collection.

I think that i am a lucky guy and don't have to lie anymore when start a new project.

Mine wife now always say that sice does matters and how bigger the better it is.

I always finish my current project before thinking of or even buying other sets.

I never buy more than one copy of a given set.

My 'to build' list has never more than three items

I never let LEGO secretly ship to my work address

I keep all my LEGO for my grandchildren

I never lie about the number of sets or parts I have

"This modern studless/panel stuff really looks much better than CT" (<-Classic Technic)

"If I use 8 XLs, 500 gears and third party wheels, it's gonna be better than anything proper RC"

"This chopper/plane IS gonan fly, I tell ya!"

"I never play with my Technic figs"

"I've never heard gears clicking in an MOC!"

I don't either! It too deep to fix, so I turn up the TV!

Look Honey, I got this for $200 off eBay ... and some people are willing to pay $400 for this monorail ... don't you think it's a good investment?

"There aren't dents in the wall from any kind of catapult."

"It doesn't hurt to get your fingers caught in perpendicularly meshed knob wheels directly powered by an XL motor."

Jim, or another mod, can you please change the topic title to "Lies and sarcasm related to Lego Technic"? That'd better fit the content. Thanks upfront!

"I never place my well-sorted boxes of small stuff directly near the mouse and keyboard, only to forget about them while reading Eurobricks and then, upon standing up, unwantingly smashing the stuff all over the place.."

- i have killed gears at my G-Wagons

- i have never used third party parts

- i have never had connection problems with Lego IR transmitters

- i have never made a ship which has made a dive.
