Huh? It's a moon? Or is it a plane? This won't pass review

This is the whole set.

I think it has some chances, but they would have to redesign it completely

After spamming every social network in existence, "The Little Prince" achieved 10000 supporters today

If this isn't approved in the review, I'm afraid they guy will kill himself.

Is that an image he created with the LEGO logo? I wonder if they'll ding him for violating the part in the guidelines about using LEGO's logo in images.

Oops. That wasn't the official image. I took it from another site. It doesn't have the logo.

I replaced it with the official one.

Honestly I'm a bit concerned about that myself- but I have to give the guy credit- he showed incredible determination... When I first saw the project I didn't support it... When I saw it on Facebook the first time I didn't support it. When I saw it the 10th time I still didn't support it. But somewhere around the 20th time I saw it... I decided to support it- because this guy worked hard and as a fellow Lego fan I couldn't let all his effort go to waste. I truly wish him good luck. I think had the main photo been of the plane and not the ball he would have got 10k sooner.

And you know what... if they do make it... I'm buying one.

As someone who really enjoyed the recent CGI-ish cartoon of The Little Price (It aired on ABC3 here in Australia but I cant find any real references to it online anywhere or any indications of where I might be able to pick up some DVDs or something unfortunately) I would definitely be interested in a Little Prince LEGO set.

This set is almost the same and is currently in review- https://ideas.lego.com/projects/98263

If that one makes it, no way this other one will, it's too similar.

On the other hand if that one doesn't make it, I'm not sure why this one would either.

Yep. That project is pretty much doomed.

The sad part is, that project was posted first. Not the one in review.

Review time!

These 9 projects have entered in review in the hope of becoming official LEGO sets:

It's that time again! The next review qualification deadline is coming up in just under a week: early morning Monday September 7th, 12:00 am GMT. If you have a favorite project you want to see considered in this review, it's time to get supporting and spreading the word.

Projects that reach 10,000 supporters after midnight on Monday can still qualify for the Third review qualification period ending Monday, January 4, 2016.

I am hoping the Stay Puft gets made, I would definatly buy one if they made it into a set (and I think they can scale it down a bit to make it viable without hurting the project too much)

Its really the second most recognizable ghost in the film after Slimer so I think the sort of people who bought the Ecto would buy Mr Staypuft.

Well... out of those that got 10k, the one's I'd buy are the ones I supported - Lothlorien and Stay Puft.

Both are quite big, but I don't think either one is "too" big. However, I have no hope that either one will be chosen (although I think Ecto-1 probably did pretty well, and that might be incentive to try to make Stay Puft work... even if it wasn't enough to make the Ghostbusters Firehouse work).

What I think stands a chance? Yes, the cars. Given the Marble Run set made it, the "LEGO Physics" set stands a chance, although it would behoove TLG to wait and see how the LEGO Marble Run does before deciding to do this one. Of course, it'll be ages before we find out what gets selected, so they can take their time. I'm doubting Adventure Time is unlicensed. The others just don't seem likely.

If I were a betting man, I'd say the Caterham Super 7 has the best odds.

These are my bets:

1. Brick-Built Adventure Time Figures 4/5

2. Caterham Super Seven 5/5

3. The Modular Library 1/5

4. Lothlorien 0/5

5. LEGO Physics 2/5

6. Ghostbusters: Stay Puft Marshmallow Man 4/5

7. Hobbit-Rivendell 0/5

8. Indominus Rex 1/5

9. The Little Prince 3/5

I disagree, Robert8, about Adventure Time. Without knowing the license agreements they have, I don't see how Adventure Time gets a 4/5 chance. Minecraft has other licensees, so I don't know what the deal is (except LEGO often gets the "building toy" license), but that Adventure Time submission is ALL characters with little else, and there are already AT figures out there. I think it would be a really hard sell, although I wouldn't say it's impossible.

Another option is that they roll-over the current Golden Girls idea, and then either deny both at the same time or accept to make one, with both creators as the inspiration. There are no hard and fast rules at lego ideas, they do what they like.

I would be very surprised if the Caterham Super 7 gets green-lit at all.

Its a car most people probably haven't heard of (heck, its a car a lot of car enthusiasts may not have heard of) and its fairly large (in scale and price point)

I think the Corvette has a much greater chance of being green-lit, its much more well known and it could probably be done at a better price point than the Caterham.

If the 1969 Chevrolet Corvette doesn't make it they should just shut down the site... What's the point? If something so perfect can't make it to be a real set there's no point to have an Ideas platform.

All those sets are doomed in my opinion. I can only see a small change for the cars and even those don't look like some set LEGO could make. But we just have to wait and see I suppose! I would love to buy those cars!

Don't expect the results of the current review anytime soon

Throughout this summer, the LEGO Review Board has been hard at work determining the results of the First 2015 LEGO Review. It will be several more weeks before we're ready to share, so stay tuned

It seems it's taking longer than expected, since this time there are 13 projects to review.
