TheUtilityBelt Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 In carn, the main livestock is sheep. I don't know why but it is. :) HSS: Carn Farmers by TheUtilityBelt32, on Flickr HSS: Carn Farmers by TheUtilityBelt32, on Flickr More on my flickr. First HSS build, so I hope you like it! Quote
HammerBro Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Cool scene! The sheep is great and the tree is too. Quote
Sigolf Brimabane Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 The sheep reminds me of a tapir with that piece x) But it's really cute Quote
Scaevola Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 This looks really good. The sheep design is superb and I like the clever technique you used to make the minifig sit (I'll have to use that sometime). However, the tree is a little diminutive to be that thick, but that's just a minor detraction. Great work Quote
MKJoshA Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I love the grey wool vs. white. Great design! And I too love your sitting minifigure. I know it's not the first time I've seen it, but it works especially well here. Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 Thanks all! The white on the sheep is actually light grey, and I got the design from Carson Haupt, so some credit should go to him. This is also the first time I've sepersted the legs for posing. I think it turned out well. :) And I will make the tree taller. Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 New tree! New tree! by TheUtilityBelt32, on Flickr New tree! by TheUtilityBelt32, on Flickr Yay! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 That is a really nice sitting pose Good landscape too Quote
Gabe Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Nice sheep design UtilityBelt! But you might want to consider the placement a little more the next time - in your first shot we get a nice view of the shepherd but we only see the sheep's bum; whereas in the second we get a good side view of the sheep but the shepherd is partially obscured and out of focus. Compositional issues like that can really make or break a moc, especially a small one where you might have only a couple of vantage points to work with. Good work on the tree revision btw, even that little bit of extra hight makes a real difference. Quote
