vmln8r Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) There's a great deal of stuff around on not-specifically-Technic (here, for instance), and also of course how Technic teaches you mechanical things, etc. However, is there any work done on the value of Technic building, in terms of a child's cognitive/emotional/psychological/social development? Doesn't necessarily have to be peer-reviewed, anything goes at this stage. Edited April 27, 2014 by VMLN8R Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I'm probably one of the younger builders around here and I have to say Technic has taught me A LOT about mechanisms, etc... Quote
Misa_Kulicka Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I have degree in mechanical engineering and Technic learned me definitely a lot when I was a child. I even think that Lego, Merkur (another toy, bit different from Lego) and one my high school teacher had significant influence on my final decision to study mechanical engineering. Quote
