When I followed up on my order Rock Yong said he didn't have the product, yet he still continued to take orders for weeks afterwards. Now his store shows that he has the items in stock. I messaged him again to get an update on my order and now he is demanding more money from me before he will ship. I have filed a complaint thru Aliexpress but doubt I will get any response.

I ordered the cheap tower too. I did get a quick message saying it was not out yet, which I guessed anyway. It's a shame AE's dispute process doesn't have the option for the 'seller to send you what you ordered'. Refund's don't cut it at time's like this.

I've used Minifigure Wholesale a lot and had a couple of issues with parts missing. Mainly a cape, some legs and a machine gun.

I think the language barrier has been an issue as it taken them a while to finally send me what was missing. They have however always sorted out my issues (just seems to take a while).

They do seem to offer preorders a lot and I've noticed they have started to mark them accordingly. However if you brought at a price they should honour that. Be interesting to see if they do....

I must admit that I've ordered several times from Minifigures Wholesale and they've always been fine.

I think on this occasion they've underpriced something and they really don't want to honour it which is a shame.

By now we all know the average prices for figs and small sets. If a deal looks too good (like real cheap) to be true it probably is.

Avengers tower for 16$ would be insane. Too bad they won't sell it of course, but we can also understand why, right?

As for bootlegs, i feel unsatisfied. The last sy spidey wave wasnt that great and the last series i really enjoyed was the sy cannons series (jean grey, doom etc). Now we only got copies from copies in different colors or translucent. Or more Iron Men. What keeps the new dargo series from coming out? And when do we get something to cheer again from sy?

*edit* mind you, i'm highly sceptic about those new dargo figs. But i do like their choice of figs. Feels refreshing.

Sorry if this was unclear:

There is the normal black suited Torso (which you can get from the official TLG Venom) and then there is the sharp angled legged Torso (where you can get from SY188). The head for Symbiote Spidey can be bought at several places (including FST as mentioned previously).

The Venom on the right is actually a clone of Christo's original Venom minifigure before Lego released it. Very rare and almost a perfect copy of it as long as you get a good print.

But since it is unique, I got it and put in on my Maria Hill MOC (Avengers Assemble variant)

As much as I d enjoy a good custom variant from our Eastern friends I always thought that design was a little too generic and without the red belt symbol (which only Christo has actually done properly) it just didn't come across as Black Widow... the blue lines do seem to be a mix of the Assemble and AOU figures though.
