The last SY set was worth it for the Sam Wilson torso and the Batarang Bash Batman torso as well as the armour and helmet for Deathstroke. Yellow Jacket is excellent as is Harley Quinn and the Iron Man poly clone is also well done. Green Lantern Bats isn't as good as DLP's.

If Doll can produce figures as good as their last SW wave then I have high hopes for them.

Fingers crossed they're more productive once the new year is under way.

Dargo cancelled the set that everyone was excited about. The only thing Decool has put out recently was a Star Wars set... some folks were even starting to worry if they were still around. SY has still been trucking along and put out a few superhero sets recently with neat figures like Red Tornado (SY289) and Deathstroke (SY295)

i received xinh's Kylo Ren. It's just great. Lois Lane was awesome too, i'm reconsidering my opinion about this brand

Xinh were indeed good but those that got that Doll set for 80p are in for a real treat.

crazy thing : i get a decool minifig set on ebay, one of the minifigures came without a hand ; there is no spare hands in decool's sets and I did not have a hand of that exact color at home, i contacted the seller asking him an extra hand for my figure, he promised to do something for me and today i found a complete set of 6 figs in my letterbox

btw, someone got that set for 80p?

My SY 295 set came in. As a Marvel collector SDCC Sam Wilson is beautiful along with the Yellowjacket, sadly I did not recieve a Silver Centurion Iron Man. I messaged the seller and I'm waiting for a response. Althought I do have a authentic version since I got it for free at Gamestop, I wanted the Silver Centurion to mess around with and customize with the dual colored sleeves mainly. Also the Arsenal and Deathstroke figures were neat, the helmet on deathstroke seems weird. I prefer it without the helmet and armor.

SY figures can be fantastic quality. If you're talking about the Helicarrier Nick Fury then it may be worth picking up the parts from Bricks and Pieces from lego as the torso and legs are available there for around £1 for both. I found that a mixture of the SY and DLP Nick Fury actually had more accurate printing for lining up the zipper on the torso and legs. Bootleg on the right (with trench coat added):

The Vision is well printed but the colours are off. The head and hands are a lighter pink and so are obviously different from the Lego version.

Thanks! Unfortunately, the GG head is not detachable -- collar was made by me via molding clay. Basically, I had to cut the Goblin in half and then transplant it onto a Clear trans Hulk bottom... operation was successful!

Looking at the recent improvement in moulding even from people like Dargo and Doll on the SW wave would it be considered very bad of me to hope they make a red Vader helmet anytime soon... along with an orange C3PO head. Something about those prototypes I quite like. DLP's recent Batman helmets have been great quality even with the slightly rough texture matching up to the Lego version.

Just for my own pleasure of adding regular bodies etc but without the need for the ridiculous price tags attached.

If DLP would make a 8fig darth vader wave like the batman wave that would be supercool. Red Vader, white vader, trans vader, pink vader, rainbow vader, green lantern vader, zebra vader like robianco's avatar and iron man mark darth vader :-D

The red and white Vaders would actually be quite nice as variants. Where do I have to post this to get DLP to notice?!

I loved it when the bootleg companies Were mostly making superhero minifigures. There was not/is not a huge range of original figures from LEGO so all those customs etc. From the bootleggers Were just perfect and i could not wait to see a upcoming wave every single week. But since the summer and the release of Star wars FOA the production of these custom super hero minifigures has slown down drastically and it annoys me insanely...

Personally i think that those Star wars figures they are making are garbage quality compared to the original figures and to the bootleg superhero figures...

The range of characters In original LEGO Star wars is so wide that they do not make any customs and only cheap low quality crap figures..

Oh god i miss the old days hahaha

and guys remember this is just my opinion because i see that many of you are pleased with these Star wars figuresand i respect that (kinda :p)

I know what you mean regarding availability but the bootleggers caught up so quickly with what had been released that they reached a point where they then had to come up with new designs and that has never been their strongpoint.

On the subject of the SW figures... I defy anyone to pick out the some of those figures and parts from genuine Lego in a line. Some of them are that good. Admittedly faces can be off and things such as Han / Chewie etc aren't that great but for Imperials they're incredible.

I'm not sure how some SH figures can be so good that they're hard to differentiate from real Lego and yet some figures can be atrocious (I'm looking at you SY for the faces on the recent JLA wave).

I have the 2 Star Wars XINH minifigures sets (X0103 and X0104), and I am really delighted by the quality of these minifigs, way better than I expected (compared to the previous XINH minifigs).

Note: Chewie is slightly darker than in the pictures.

I think they are great, my son plays with them all the time, improved greatly recently and well worth the price( on aliexpress,seen some on ebay for £1.50- £3.00!!!!) grab a bargain and enjoy!!!!
