adalric Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 there are a lot of ironman in china Anyone know if these on AE or eBay? Definitely want to get both sets. These are completely ridiculous... and the true spirit of bootlegs! ;)
drazplaz Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Anyone know if these on AE or eBay? Definitely want to get both sets. These are completely ridiculous... and the true spirit of bootlegs! ;) They've finally popped up here, but are being sold individually so are a bit much atm.
Swifty118247 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 They've finally popped up here, but are being sold individually so are a bit much atm. I've used this seller before and all items have been great! He's great if you only want the odd figure from a wave, although I'm sure you could pay a lot less if your willing to wait a bit longer and bid
agoodfella77 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Check out this awesome Big Minfig Galactus someone made:
Adnan Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 The tumbler was fun to build. Despite having way more pieces than the Bozhi chopper my fingers were not sore by the end of it. I'm actually surprised how good it was to build. At times I forgot it was bootleg. Are there any other larger decool sets?
wilson3a10 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) The one making the bid galactus is genius Edited February 6, 2015 by wilson3a10
Borex Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Check out this awesome Big Minfig Galactus someone made That's great work! I hope SY will produce one this big!
Robianco Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Even without articulation this figure looks superb.
wickedlemon Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Are there any other larger decool sets? So far the Decool superhero sets I've found number from 7101 to 7107 - a search on Aliepress will give you all the details. They all seem to be copies of smaller Lego sets. Nothing big that I'm aware of.
ChrisW Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Just curious: would Batman's White bandana 'eyes' head work under Ant-Man's helmet?
agoodfella77 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Even without articulation this figure looks superb. 100% agree. It is fan-EFFING-tastic. Decool stepping up. Hope to see more of this kind of stuff. That's great work! I hope SY will produce one this big! SY or DC would be awesome if they did, here is a pic of regular minifigs and Hulk big fig for scale:
KCMatze Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I am not a fan of Groots faceprint...looks slightly off to me...
ClickDastardly Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Digger posted a pic on his Facebook that he found those wacky Iron Man sets in his shopping. So I am hoping the sets start popping up on Ebay and AE soon.
Robianco Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Yeah... fingers crossed. I think the stores that Digger buys from are serviced by the same wholesalers as they normally appear in his feed at the same time they get shipped from AE so fingers crossed. Although looking at them I on;y really want the Batman for his torso to make a custom Bats figure.
wilson3a10 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) Nice pick today Edited February 6, 2015 by wilson3a10
Borex Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 What will be the next wave? Iron Hulk - Iron Phoenix - Iron Carnage - Iron Thing - Iron Wonder Woman - Iron Joker - Iron Aquaman - Iron Batman version something? Bring them on!!
Robianco Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 To be fair that might be a pretty good Agent Venom torso.
The Lego Nolan Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Anybody know if the decool Jek-14 has a head with lightning on it? Been looking for one for my Shazam.
agoodfella77 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 To be fair that might be a pretty good Agent Venom torso. That Cyclops torso could be useful for someone from X-Men that I haven't thought of, but could def. be useful...
jangosolo Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Have built the tumbler - as mentioned earlier in the thread, its a very easy to put together build compared to the Bohzi Helicopter, instructions had a few oddities where parts appeared earlier than they should have (I had expected it to be a direct copy of Lego's instructions but fair play) - also all the parts are printed (not sure if Lego's tumbler is the same?) so thats great. Only niggle really is the back axles didn't turn to easily, so had to modify the axle (e.g cut some off the end) so it can freewheel. Overall for the money, its a total no brainer
LMB10 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 That Groots taller than I thought it would be... Too tall. Was really hoping it'd just be normal BigFig height
wilson3a10 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 That Groots taller than I thought it would be... Too tall. Was really hoping it'd just be normal BigFig height Yea, looks fit for treebeard's size but not for groot
TheLegoDr Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I think that Groot is perfect sized. Is it smaller than the official version? In the movie, Groot is easily much taller than everyone else, so it makes sense to have this. I may have to look for this figure somewhere. I don't love the official version that came out.
