ChrisW Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 It's not Super Heroes, but now that the game is soon to come out, I'd love to see some bootleg Jurassic Park figs like Ian Malcom, John Hammond etc.
Brickmamba Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 kinda wished these companies stop remaking so many of the AoU figs, most people will have the originals, better of spending their time and effort on customs not released by lego, im sure they would sell better as well
gavralcraw Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Anyone know if I can get bootleg minifigs for: Italian Spiderman Or Indian Superman / Spider-Woman https://www.youtube....h?v=HC_x2B5K7Es Bootleg squared? Bozhi? Edited May 26, 2015 by gavralcraw
Collector Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 The Iron Man in that new set looks like it's the same as Dargo's Mark 19 suit, but with the wrong face plate. I've seen people selling these bootlegs at local comic conventions - but the prices are atrocious! Usually they sell for $5 each or 5 for $20 - pretty bad when you can get the whole set for $7 from Aliexpress! I saw a seller this morning at the flea market in Shipshewana, Indiana selling JLB Ninja Turtles and CB Ninjago minifigures for $4 each or 5 for $15 Both Lele and SY have done Spiderman waves and some of the Lele were excellent, quite surprisingly. Decool have also done the SDCC and FF Spidey figs while Dargo released a unique Spidey variant. SY had SDCC, Spiderman 2099, Future Foundation, Christo's Venom, Carnage, Negative Zone, Amazing Spiderman and Peter Parker... They also released the regular Spidey. Lele had Scarlet Spider (worth getting), SDCC (poorly done), Venom, Negative Zone, Christo's Amazing Spiderman, Future Foundation, copy of early Lego Spidey and a copy of the regular Spidey. I saw at least one seller on either Aliexpress or ebay referring to either the SY or LELE version of the Future Foundation suit as Anti-Venom. They don't have the leg printing like the Decool version has, so i guess It's possible, and it's not like they put names on the boxes. Does anyone know what that one new figure in the DLP Spider-Man set is suppossed to be? Also, did I miss it somehow, or have we still not gotten a bootleg version of the SDCC Spiderwoman minifig?
tkkim79 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 looks like decool's new skill of making woman's waist
agoodfella77 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 looks like decool's new skill of making woman's waist I'm loving the curved hips and side leg printing to boot (pun intended)! These are great trends, hope they continue.
PIGGY Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 is it new one? Hmmm, looks like this set is the rehash of their first set, SY180. Interesting.
Robianco Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) There's a seller on AE who has a few of the new sets available including the second Decool wave with Black Widow etc here They also have some interesting Iron Man constraction figures from a company called Xsz who have done a General Grievous that was also reviewed on here. I'm not a fan of Constraction but here they are anyway: There's also another seller with the new DLP Spidey wave here SY look like they've dropped the ball with the Flash wave. Somer bigger images here here. They look mostly terrible to me. How they couldn't just change the reverse Flash artwork from the original figure they had I don't know but it looks like it's copied from SGP, Penzora or similar. Edited May 26, 2015 by Robianco
dirk Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 just wondering if SY or Decool will start making Star Trek minifigs. Anyone else interested?
wilson3a10 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Just picked up just wondering if SY or Decool will start making Star Trek minifigs. Anyone else interested? Me I want a minifig of kan
Borex Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Ah Wilson our early adapter has them already, want to share some pics with us?
Robianco Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 There's a link to a seller in my last post with clear images of the Flash wave. You'll wish you never saw them.
wilson3a10 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 i was just about to ask the same question :) Ah Wilson our early adapter has them already, want to share some pics with us? :S :) :)
Robianco Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) For me, the only thing worth getting in this set is the Black Flash on the right hand side (although the head should be grey as it's cloned from Christo's version) and the helmets for customs. The legs on the regular Flash are a slight improvement on the version released a year ago but still no side leg printing. Besides that I think the designs are really bad. Poorly executed copies of figure that weren't particularly well designed in the first place. White Lantern Flash is a waste of space... It makes paying £50 for the Christo version look reasonable. Rinzler Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Flash set looking good. Shame they don't have the Lego helmets. Not a fan of bucket-head Flash
BigPoppaBrick Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I don't think the Flash set looks too bad with the Helmets on. You're turning into a bootleg snob Robianco :-D On a side note I got the Bozhi CMF series 2 set today. Wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised.
Robianco Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Ha!... Probably a little! ;) My frustration is just that the Black Flash figure is an almost perfect copy of a figure that sells for over £50 (if the head had just been printed on a grey head rather than light flesh). The red Flash figure is a good figure but almost no different from the figure released a year ago. The flame version of the Black Flash is a copy of the SGP figure but with a helmet included. White Flash is a pretty bad design... I mean just look at the muscle design and it's a poorly drawn version of the Lego design. They've also copied what looks like Fig Factory figures for Flash and Blue Lantern Flash and the SGP reverse flash instead of Christo's design (another figure that sells or over £50). It just could have been so much better for not much more work... just look at the head designs without their helmets!
Borex Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Well thank you gentlemen for the pics. I'm not into dc, but i always liked the design of Flash so i think i will purchase this set. Not every Flash is superb, but they look fun together. They do have the sy antman face disease so masks on at all time. If only sy made a comic quicksilver and speeddemon too :-)
jangosolo Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I don't think the Flash set looks too bad with the Helmets on. You're turning into a bootleg snob Robianco :-D On a side note I got the Bozhi CMF series 2 set today. Wasn't expecting much but pleasantly surprised. Haha yes was thinking the same! Around £4 for 8 decent figures is not really the same as making £50 for one reasonable Rob! The faces are all really bad, but once the Helmet is on, I'll be ok. Only really wanted to upgrade my Reverse Flash and I like the look of the CW version Flash. The others I'm not that bothered about as they are a little too obscure for me. I'm looking forward to them arriving... for £4!!! Mental.
Rinzler Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Robianco - that flame Black Flash is the Reverse Flash, Daniel West
