Spent far too much time last night trying to figure out how to squeeze an additional frame into my office without ruining the look. There's no way I can remove 99% of the figures already on display, I'm far too attached. These Dargo figures better be good, or at the very least SY and decool better step it up!

I ordered mine from another seller for the same price... I might have been mistaken but I'm sure the individual prices were lower than if you bought the set of three!!

Which seller? Got a link?

I've ordered around 8 different sets from them and all but this and the new SY Spidey set have been sent already and have working tracking numbers.

have you got a non mobile version of the link - I can't get it to work here at work... might be the restrictions though...

Have eventually figured it out

It's no cheaper than the other place, but you can buy individually - I have no desire for Grodd, but quite like the idea of DarkSied even though he will make my Thanos minifig (and Galactus) look rather undersized!! Love the Igor, but rather it would be in Red - it looks much better than the other Hulkbuster they made

the cheapest i could find the set for was $9.00, the link i posted had a smaller processing time than the others at the same price too =D

Exactly... You can buy the three of them individually at $2.50 each so $7.50 for the set of three but if you buy them together it's $9. Doesn't make sense!

The figure will be out of scale as Igor is a single manned suit so maybe it would be just bigger than regular suits but I'm glad it's in blue as that's the suit colour... a red option would be interesting though.

That's quick!

I thought that... hence me checking just in case it was the same store as my order was from.

Unfortunately it's not but the store I ordered from has the same shipping rating and quite a few reviews have mentioned the fast shipping. Fingers crossed it's not too long a wait.

I'm finding it hard to pick out some faults with this set. SY have really hit it out the park.

I'm really hoping I get home to something similar!

I received my AoU figures today by SY and have yet to receive the Hulkbuster especially since I ordered the Hulkbuster June 4th and the AoU figures much later. I messaged Tom and have heard no response. It's sad I finally have an order not arrive. Also can't wait to see that Spidey set since the tracking numbers are working for mine also.

I'm skeptical on Dargos quality. I need a handful of those figures so quality wise I am unsure.

I'm glad you guys are keeping this thread going. I have a problem buying knock-offs of what TLG releases, but I think things TLG hasn't or won't release is pretty fair game. When this thread first started I was well on my way to collecting most of the (what I considered) iconic superheroes and villains that TLG had released... but the very first post has the Fantastic Four, which TLG did not do. I ordered it right away, and while I built a nice little display cube for the figures, I can't bring myself to put them in the display with the real LEGO. But given the price, and the lack of production from TLG, I'm glad I got them.

So I come back to this thread every so often, and was inspired to check out alibaba again, just to see what's what, and I found Walking Dead figures! I had to laugh... but three different sets of them for $20 total? So I just pulled the trigger.

Like a lot of LEGO fans, I feel awkward buying third party stuff, and it kills me to see a picture of a lot that is being sold that contains the figures I spent hundreds collecting for like $22, but it's cool that stuff TLG won't make is available, and I appreciate you guys keeping the thread alive for so long.

172 pages and counting. That's a testament to the power of demand and undeniable level of interest.

@Fred67 - I've got the first 2 Walking Dead sets, didn't bother with the 3rd as thought it looked a bit crap.

I like the first two though, interested in what you think.

I'm glad you guys are keeping this thread going.

This thread feels like a slightly odd place in the full landscape of the forum to me. It feels like it's left to it's own accord and self moderates thus leaving no need for much interaction outside of the people who comment in here... and because of the subject matter a lot of people don't bother with it.

Every so often someone will pop in to tell everyone that bootlegs are evil and we shouldn't consider them but, as you've said, there is value in the figures that aren't being done by TLG... to be honest the Nick Fury Helicarrier bootleg figure was actually better quality than the official TLG version as all the print lined up perfectly!

I'm actually about to sell all my Marvel figures including around 50 pad printed customs, promo figures, almost all of the official Lego Marvel SH figures and MANY bootlegs including around 30 Iron Man armours... but I'll actually end up with a full set of AOU bootleg figures from SY that I'll probably keep just because they cost so little and they look almost indistinguishable from the official figures.

Time to concentrate on DC and OT Star Wars!

Has anyone bought that Jurassic World set with the stegosaurus and triceratops? I'd be interested on opinions for these.

I'm in for the long haul, fella!

Just because I'm stopping with Marvel collecting doesn't mean I'm not interested in what they're doing. Besides... Here's hoping that they keep things moving with DC anyway. My SDCC figures are bootlegs and they look perfect so you don't get rid of me that easily.

I've replied to PM and FM by the way...

I can already tell you so far, from the pictures, that while most characters are instantly recognizable, some are not really all that great - I though the first figure in the first set was Carl because he was wearing the police hat (although he was full height), which Rick hasn't done since giving it to Carl, but zooming in it's quite obviously supposed to be Rick. I think it looks terrible. At the same time, without zooming in, most of the main characters are easy to pick out, and you get a nice selection of walkers.... I'll post some pictures when I get them... what? Two months from now? :classic: Fantastic Four actually didn't take that long, so I'll be optimistic about it.
