Robianco Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Just received a Penguin Minifig, you know with short stumpy legs, but they are movable! Very impressed. Is that the old SY version? The one with Batgirl etc in it? That set is one of the best they've done with regards to quality of print etc even if none of them were unique figures. It really showed that with the right artwork they could produce very high quality figures.

Grand Emporium http://www.aliexpres...2639130743.html Fire Brigade http://www.aliexpres...2639030585.html Town Hall http://www.aliexpres...2640620702.html They don't look that good, and they aren't cheap either. If the price point was under $100 I might bite. And .... Star Destroyer!!! http://www.aliexpres...2608841257.html it's a new seller and photos looks like it was taken on a toy fair or something. maybe he just grab some photos on internet and opened a fake shop... Adnan Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 I like the look of this. However not as the Red Hood. Heres some closer looks at Wonder Woman and Aquaman from the same set: http://www.aliexpres...2631535420.html http://www.aliexpres...2630568436.html
pittpenguin123 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 hahahahaa Jango looks a bit off with those wonky visors
briksen Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) my LELE x- wing is finished, no missing pieces, good clutch, a sturdy construction and the cockpit closes perfectly. I had just one issue (apart scratched pieces) : spring shooters aren't glued, you can open it and see the internal mechanism :/ (but it still works). and maybe something else: those little red technic cross axles are a bit loose, not a big problem... rmorales629 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Not sure if this has been answered yet, but I know from experience replicas of Spider-Woman are relatively tough to find. I saw this and picked it up from a vendor at BrickUniverse the other day. It's not 100% accurate to the Lego figure (no double faces and the black lines are thinner, most notably) but it's the best I have been able to find as of yet. Here is a link to the dude's website.http://www.shop.mini...r-Gal-00077.htm here's mine so far

Mark_24 Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Hi guys While we all wait impatiently for new Marvel/DC sets, does anyone have any knowledge in regards to the Disney/Lego friends sets? I know the SY figures do not have noses, but what are the bricks in sets like etc? Thanks

Krikkit Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 It was the set that now includes Agent Venom and new Cyclops design.
wilson3a10 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 So with the new star wars trailer and movie released in Dec, there will continually be more and more sw minifigs....
dirk Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Should there be a separate thread devoted to bootleg Star wars?
Borex Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Should there be a separate thread devoted to bootleg Star wars? I'd say yes.
pittpenguin123 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I'd say yes. Yah this is just for superheros but so many more themes got talked about here
briksen Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 in my opinion, it would be more simple to rename the thread to "Bootleg minifigs - worth it or not?". we shall not increase the number of threads dedicated to bootleg minifigs as we are barely tolerated there
