I'm not sure which one look better in these non-rendered pictures:

Harry-Potter-Building-Block-Figurines-Hermione-Granger-Ron-Weasley-Seigneur-Voldemort-Littérature-Fantastique-Romans-Figure.jpg_640x640.jpg

Harry-Potter-With-Broom-Minifigures-Single-Sale-Fantasy-Literature-Novels-Cartoon-Building-Blocks-Sets-Models-Figures.jpg_640x640.jpg

I like the print quality of the first one but I prefer the torso and arms color of the second.

Ohw.. Those legs :(

Haha. ... wtf? You can't put it on a brick base? What were they thinking.

My Avengers collection so far. Mixture of official, customs, mocs and bootlegs

Anything glaringly omitted?

You seem a bit short on X-Men but if you're not going for those then that's fine. There are also plenty more iron man variants out there.

I notice you're using lego (or imitation of official) parts for Thor's helmet. SY266 which came out about a year ago features a custom part for that helmet which is (as far as I know) a lot closer to the comic book helmet.

An another note, have we heard anything about companies other than LEPIN releasing the civil war airport set? Not too impressed with LEPIN's printing or figures, so ideally want another company to make it.

You can get hold of some pretty poor figures but there are some SY figures that are comparable to genuine Lego. When people just dismiss bootlegs as rubbish they're missing some very good custom figures.

You speak only design...

What about the real quality ?

SY s plastic break easily and the ink get off easily too.

POGO s plastic is shit. The ink too. You can rub off the ink with fingers, dont need Brasso.

XINH is the new king of missprint, after Decool.

And what about the plastic colours ??

Dark blue is almost black, green is almost dark green, red is too bright etc etc etc...

Maybe decool, just a guess!

Maybe I've been lucky then but the SY figures I've kept have had pretty good plastic quality and don't stand out as inferior to Lego or other custom pad printed figures. I've got figures with are a couple of years old and had no problem with the plastic on them even when removing and changing arms or even hip pieces with legs. I must admit the leg moulding is the thing a lot of them struggle with as things are just a little too sharp but as far as torsos go I've got no complaints.

With regards to print coming off there are a couple of figures I've had that have suffered from that but I've also had figures that resisted brasso better than Lego.

My minifig collection is 95% genuine Lego or higher with just a few of them featuring bootleg parts... these parts are often mixed with genuine Lego parts to create better figures and I've got no complaints about them.

Here's a few examples. Spot the bootleg parts from the print or plastic moulding or quality.

Can anyone help me with the codes for the bigfig hulks? I know one is sy161.

Also are currently only 2 normal minifigure hulk's?

Decool 0144-0146 (green, gray, red)

Sy255 (green, gray, red, yellow)

Xinh 160 (green), 162 (green) 163 (red)

Just two hulk minifigures, green and olive (also a red hulk minifigure, but not available anymore)

Some bodyparts can be loose or sometimes the plastic is a bit rough. Some prints are superb and some are misaligned, matte or just not so good quality. It is bootleg of course. But to be honest i think the guy is just ranting about bootlegs to look cool.

Decool 0144-0146 (green, gray, red)

Sy255 (green, gray, red, yellow)

Xinh 160 (green), 162 (green) 163 (red)

Within Xinh there is also 161 in gray

ShenYuan SY271 also contains one in green

DuoLePin 9005 also has a green hulk bigfig

If you want translucent there is Dargo (864,855) but except Susan Strom who would want a translucent ??

I have all LEGO Marvel super heroes figures ever released (except the sdcc/nycc ones) and i also have every single Marvel "custom" bootleg figure and if we have to talk about the plastic:

Amount of LEGO figures i had to replace with a new one because it cracked when i switched it legs or arms: i have lost count.

Amount of SY figures i had to replace with a new one because it cracked when i switched it legs or arms: 0

Plastic durability: SY > LEGO

These YG Hulkbusters look way better than I expected. I may need to get some more to convert to Christmas tree decorations.

Quite like the OK Hulkbuster too.

Am I the only one who gets reminded of Krang everytime he sees Thanos with a bright pink face?

Yes, yes I do, strange that he's so pink rather than purple

It's the new Lego version that's coming with the new DC DVD.

Ah, I keep thinking about buying it for the fig
